Overview of Bosses in Blackrock Caverns
Here we will give you a full rundown of what you can expect from each of the bosses found here on both Normal and Heroic difficulties as well as the items they drop.
Rom'ogg Bonecrusher
Clear the room around Rom'ogg Bonecrusher first as he will
Call for Help when engaged. He will also frequently cast
Quake, spawning a dust cloud underneath each players feet. This
will explode after 4 seconds, dealing massive damage to anyone nearby, and
spawn an Angered Earth at each cloud. Be sure to quickly move out
of the dust cloud to avoid dying, and have the tank grab all of the adds and
quickly AoE them down. At 66% and 33% health,
Rom'ogg Bonecrusher will use
Chains of Woe, pulling all
enemies into melee range and rooting them in place. He will then begin to cast
The Skullcracker, which will instantly kill anyone in his melee
range at the end of the cast. Quickly kill the Chains to free yourselves, then
run away from Rom'ogg Bonecrusher to avoid dying to
The Skullcracker.

Corla, Herald of Twilight
-
Evolution
Aura of Acceleration
Dark Command
- Evolved Twilight Zealot
Force Blast
Gravity Strike
Grievous Whirl
Shadow Strike
Corla, Herald of Twilight will start the fight with 3
Twilight Zealots worshiping her. Corla will channel beams of energy
into these Twilight Zealots, giving them stacks of
Evolution every second. Upon reaching 100 stacks of
Evolution, the Twilight Zealots will transform into an
Evolved Twilight Zealot, gaining multiple deadly abilities. To
prevent this from happening, a player will need to be assigned to each beam to
"interrupt" it, by standing between Corla, Herald of Twilight
and the Twilight Zealot. This will instead cause the player to gain
stacks of
Evolution, rather than the Twilight Zealot.
If a player reaches 100 stacks of
Evolution, they will instead
transform into a Twilight Drakonid, attacking their allies. To
prevent this, stand in the beam until you have around 80 stacks of
Evolution, then move out until your debuff resets.
Corla, Herald of Twilight herself is rather weak, with her main threat
being
Dark Command, as this can fear a target away from their
beam and prevent them from soaking the stacks.

Karsh Steelbender
Karsh Steelbender starts the fight with
Quicksilver Armor full stacked, reducing his damage taken by
99%. The tank will need to drag him through the flowing lava in the middle
of the room to damage his armor, giving him a stack of
Superheated Quicksilver Armor for every 2 seconds he is under the
lava. While under the lava, Karsh Steelbender will cast
Heat Wave every second, dealing more for each stack of
Superheated Quicksilver Armor. Because of
Heat Wave
and the
Burning Metal damage he will be dealing while debuffed
with
Quicksilver Armor, you will only want to briefly drag him
through the lava to gain 1 or 2 stacks of
Superheated Quicksilver Armor. If you keep him under the lava for
too longer players will start dying from his increasing damage output.

Beauty
The room Beauty is in will also contain her 4 pups, Lucky, Spot, and Buster, which will engage alongside their mother; Runty is found in the back of the room, and should not be engaged if possible. If Runty does enter combat, you must not kill him, or this will cause Beauty to enrage and wipe your group. Use as much crowd control as you have available on the pups, killing any besides Runty that you can not CC before focusing Beauty down.
Beauty will Berserker Charge the target that is
farthest away, and often uses
Flamebreak to deal Fire damage to
all nearby enemies. She will also periodically use
Terrifying Roar
to fear your group, which may cause someone to run into Runty and
engage him in combat. Lastly she will target a random player with
Magma Spit, dealing damage over time and splashing magma nearby,
which will explode for high Fire damage to any nearby targets. Avoid the magma
as much as possible while continuing to finish off the boss.

Ascendant Lord Obsidius
Ascendant Lord Obsidius will be protected by three
Shadow of Obsidius, which can be attacked but do not take damage.
These Shadows will ignore threat and only attack the player that most recently
attacked them, with each Shadow applying Crepuscular Veil to their
target when they get close. These should be handled by having a DPS class with
high mobility or DoTs to attack the Shadow of Obsidius clones and
kite them around the room, ideally using any slows available to the group to
avoid taking damage.
Ascendant Lord Obsidius will swap places with one of the
Shadow of Obsidius at both 66% and 33% health, so be
sure the group is ready to change targets. He will also cast
Thunderclap often, slowing nearby members movement speed. If the
player who is kiting the Shadow of Obsidius clones gets slowed by
this, quickly dispel them to allow them to properly kite. Lastly, either
dispel the
Twilight Corruption debuff or simply heal through it.
