The Stonecore Dungeon Guide
The Stonecore is a perilous, underground cavern located in Deepholm, where groups will brave treacherous terrain and battle against numerous elemental enemies and Twilight's Hammer cultists in their quest to restore stability to the earth.
The Stonecore Entrance Location
The Stonecore is located in the center of Deepholm, halfway up the pillar that holds the Temple of Earth. Fly up along the western side of the pillar until you reach the platform with the dungeon entrance.
Overview of Bosses in The Stonecore
Here we will give you a full rundown of what you can expect from each of the bosses found here on both Normal and Heroic difficulties as well as the items they drop.
Corborus
While fighting Corborus above the ground, spread out to avoid taking
increased damage from Crystal Barrage. Anyone in the area targeted
by
Crystal Barrage must quickly move out, and the ranged DPS
should turn and AoE the Crystal Shards that spawn in at the same
location. Corborus will also AoE the group with
Dampening Wave, causing targets to absorb 15,000 healing. This can
and should be dispelled off the tank as soon as possible, but can simply be
allowed to expire from the DPS.
After being in combat for awhile, Corborus will burrow underground,
becoming unattackable. While underground, numerous Rock Borers
will sprout out of the ground and attack the nearest target. These should be
quickly gathered by the tank and AoE'd. In addition, while Corborus
is underground, clouds of dust will appear in random locations. These dust clouds
are warnings to show where Corborus will emerge from the ground with
Thrashing Charge as he leaps out of the ground from one hole into
another, killing any players cause in the dust clouds. Quickly move out of these
before he jumps out or you will die.

phase he will constantly cast Sand Blast, hitting all enemies in
front of him. He will also cast
Lava Fissure under a random

area. After a short time, Slabhide will fly up into the air and cover
the ground with
Stalactites before landing,These pillars cover
the room and will hamper players line of sight. Slabhide will then
cast
Crystal Storm, dealing Nature damage to all enemies in his
line of sight. Use the pillars created by

Ozruk
Ozruk will often cast Ground Slam in front of him,
dealing fatal damage to all enemies caught in the path. DPS and healers should
be sure to never be in front of the boss, and even the tank will need to move
behind him to avoid this attack. Ozruk will also constantly be casting
Shatter, killing any nearby enemies. When he casts everyone must
run away from him, including the tank. He will also frequently gain the buffs
Elementium Bulwark and
Elementium Spike Shield for 10
seconds.
Elementium Spike Shield causing a bleed to melee attackers
and
Elementium Bulwark reflects all spell casts back to the
caster.
While these might seem bad at first, they are needed to avoid the next
ability, Paralyze. Ozruk will periodically
Paralyze, stunning all enemies for 8 seconds and dealing very
high Arcane damage at the end of the stun. This can be avoided by using the
Elementium Bulwark and
Elementium Spike Shield buffs
to reflect a damage over time spell back onto yourself, or simply attacking the
boss for the bleed effect.

High Priestess Azil
High Priestess Azil will frequently call in numerous
Devout Followers to aid her in combat; these have very low health
and should be dealt with quickly. Gravity Wells will spawn under
the feet of random players and should quickly be moved away from before they
spawn in and pull you into them. High Priestess Azil will also cast
Force Grip on the tank, dealing massive damage to the stunned
target every few seconds.
Force Grip should be interrupted if
possible as it deals a very high amount of damage and can easily kill your
tank.
High Priestess Azil will sometimes buff herself with
Energy Shield, reducing her damage taken by 75%,
dealing damage and knocking back any nearby targets while she hovers above her
shrine. She will then hurl
Seismic Shards at random players,
dealing deadly damage to anyone caught in the area. Watch the ground and the
area around you to avoid these as you can easily die if you get hit by even
one.
