Restoration Shaman Healing Guide (WoW MoP 5.3)

Restoration Shaman Art Image Welcome to our Restoration Shaman healing guide for World of Warcraft MoP 5.3. Here, you will learn everything you need to know about playing a Restoration Shaman in a raid environment, though most of the content also applies to normal and heroic dungeons.

For 10-man raiding, this guide has been reviewed and approved by Zetian, who raids in MCO, one of the most efficient 10-man guilds in the world (top 100 with a 13-hour a week schedule).

For 25-man raiding, this guide has been reviewed and approved by Sonie, one of the best Restoration Shamans in the world, who raids in Method. You can watch his stream on Twitch.

Currently, Restoration Shamans shine when it comes to healing grouped up or stacked players. They are also very good tank healers. That said, they lack the necessary tools for healing spread out groups as efficiency as other classes do.

Restoration Shamans make a worthy addition to any raid, thanks to their abilities to complement other healers. Also, they bring a wide array of useful abilities, through their many totems (Mana Tide Totem Icon Mana Tide Totem, in particular).

In order to properly play a healing role, you will need more than just class-specific information. To better understand healing in general, we recommend that you read our healing guide.
