Mythic+ Gear BiS List for Fury Warrior

This list contains the best gear dropping specifically from Mythic+ dungeons in Season 2 of The War Within. This makes them more easily farmable, though at a lower item level than what is available from Mythic Raid or The Great Vault, so they are not necessarily the absolute best drops or the best consolidated set of gear.

Best Cyrce's Circlet Gems for Fury Warrior

Going into Season 2, Cyrce's Circlet remains a formidable option, competitive against even the highest level Mythic rings. Although this is expected to change at some point, players should continue to use the ring until such a point that it is nerfed, and those who do not yet have it should make a point of obtaining and empowering it.

It is highly recommended to sim yourself to figure out the best choices and combinations of gems for your specific gear set, though these are generally the preferred gems to slot into Cyrce's Circlet:

  • For raid content, prioritize Fathomdweller's Runed Citrine Icon Fathomdweller's Runed Citrine, Stormbringer's Runed Citrine Icon Stormbringer's Runed Citrine, and Windsinger's Runed Citrine Icon Windsinger's Runed Citrine.
  • For Mythic+/heavy AoE, instead use Fathomdweller's Runed Citrine Icon Fathomdweller's Runed Citrine, Stormbringer's Runed Citrine Icon Stormbringer's Runed Citrine, and Legendary Skipper's Citrine Icon Legendary Skipper's Citrine.

For more information on how to get the ring, as well as acquiring all of the different gems that you can possibly socket into it, check out our Cyrce's Circlet guide below!

Best Raiding Trinkets for Fury Warrior

This Trinket Tier List is single target biased, as this tends to be the most important aspect of Raiding. The best trinkets tend to be those that provide stat boosts, enhancing the performance of burst cooldowns, although there are a handful of strong direct damage trinkets in Season 1 of The War Within as well.

While using two on-use trinkets is generally not preferred due to the shared 20-second lockout period they incur, there are very few passive trinket options in this Season. However, direct damage trinkets do not need to be timed with anything in particular, so they can typically be delayed without issue so long as the delay does not cost an overall use.

As of right now, nothing from the recent Timewalking or new anniversary Black Rock Depths raid appears strongly competitive with the other options currently available, both due to their limited item level and low rate of acquisition. That said, players who do not have access to the highest levels of gear from Nerub-ar Palace and Mythic+ may find more use for them as interim upgrades.

4.1.

Best Raiding Trinkets

  • Eye of Kezan Icon Eye of Kezan is a powerful passive trinket that stacks Strength and triggers periodic pulses of fire damage. While the damage event is very minor, the stacking strength adds up over the course of long encounters, and the passive effects pair well with other active trinkets.
  • Mechano-Core Amplifier Icon Mechano-Core Amplifier is very competitive due to the way Fury values all stats at higher gear levels, despite being limited to 665 item level, though more testing may be required.
  • House of Cards Icon House of Cards grants a large amount of Mastery every 1.5m, aligning perfectly with Avatar. Mastery is also a very strong stat for Fury, though it can begin to suffer diminishing returns.
  • Improvised Seaforium Pacemaker Icon Improvised Seaforium Pacemaker is passive but predictable, triggering every 60 seconds with a sizeable critical strike buff.
4.1.

Good Alternative Single Target Trinkets

  • Reverb Radio Icon Reverb Radio is another decent passive trinket. Although Fury tends already tends to gear a lot of Haste, it stacks very fast, making it a better choice for short fights and dungeons.
  • Zee's Thug Hotline Icon Zee's Thug Hotline is random with a twist, always providing full value whenever Bloodlust or Heroism is used, potentially making it even more competitive on very short fights.
  • Viscera of Coalesced Hatred Icon Viscera of Coalesced Hatred deals direct single target damage, making it a poor choice for dungeons. Although it does provide a bit of healing, it is not a large enough amount to weight its use.

These are generic simulations from Bloodmallet, giving you a rough overview of strong Fury Warrior Trinkets. It is not a replacement for simming yourself, but it can still offer a quick reference point.

Best Mythic+ Trinkets for Fury Warrior

This Trinket Tier List is multitarget biased, as this tends to be the most important aspect of Mythic+.

4.1.

Best Mythic+ Trinkets

  • Eye of Kezan Icon Eye of Kezan is a powerful passive trinket that stacks Strength and triggers periodic pulses of fire damage. While the damage event is very minor, the stacking strength adds up over the course of long encounters, and the passive effects pair well with other active trinkets.
  • House of Cards Icon House of Cards grants a large amount of Mastery every 1.5m, aligning perfectly with Avatar, which makes it great for burst multitarget damage.
  • Mechano-Core Amplifier Icon Mechano-Core Amplifier is very competitive due to the way Fury values all stats at higher gear levels, despite being limited to 665 item level, though more testing may be required.
4.1.

Good Alternative Mythic+ Trinkets

  • Reverb Radio Icon Reverb Radio is another decent passive trinket. Although Fury tends already tends to gear a lot of Haste, it stacks very fast, making it a better choice for short fights and dungeons.
  • Ravenous Honey Buzzer Icon Ravenous Honey Buzzer can deal surprisingly strong multitarget damage, though its single target performance leaves a lot to be desired.
  • Geargrinder's Spare Keys Icon Geargrinder's Spare Keys is another split damage multitarget trinket, making it roughly similar in single target as multitarget value. These trinkets tend to be better at very low gear levels, but quickly left behind as player gear catches up.

These are generic simulations from Bloodmallet, giving you a rough overview of strong Fury Warrior Trinkets. It is not a replacement for simming yourself, but can still offer a quick reference point.

"Simming" Yourself as a Fury Warrior

Throughout this page, we regularly refer to the importance of simming yourself on Raidbots, as it is an indispensable aspect of optimizing your character.

While we do offer generic sim charts for Trinkets, this should not be a replacement for simming yourself, at least not if you want to minmax sub-1%!

If you are new to simming and Raidbots, check out our detailed guide below.

6.

Best Crafted Items for Fury Warrior

Our BiS Crafts are pretty straightforward. We want 2x Duskthread Lining Icon Duskthread Lining on Cloak and either Bracers or Boots, due to those being the lowest stat budget gear slots. Crafting a weapon with Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension Icon Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension paired with Writhing Armor Banding Icon Writhing Armor Banding on another piece of gear is also a strong early consideration for players who anticipate trouble getting weapons, but due to the new cantrip weapons available in Season 2, it is not advised for the majority of players.

Fury Warriors should generally craft Haste/Mastery onto their gear, though at higher gear levels, Versatility often overtakes Haste. While stat weights may change depending on what gear you currently have available, it is easier to gear around your crafts than to continually recraft your gear.

6.1.

Best Embellishments and Crafting Order for Fury Warrior

Note that Embellishments are in a very odd state of tuning, and players cannot craft maximum item-level gear in the first weeks anyway, so it is highly recommended not to craft anything until it is felt as though it is needed, generally right before you head into serious raid or Mythic+ progression. The longer you can wait with crafting, the better information you, and this guide, will have on the best Crafts. Crafting early and then having the recommendation change because of tuning by Blizzard is a possibility, and the goal should be to avoid this happening as much as possible.

  1. Consecrated Cloak Icon Consecrated Cloak — currently the best embellishment.
  2. Everforged Vambraces Icon Everforged Vambraces — doubling up on the same. Everforged Sabatons Icon Everforged Sabatons or Everforged Greatbelt Icon Everforged Greatbelt are also an acceptable alternatives.
  3. Next, fill low-item level holes in your gear, preferring weapons or pieces of gear you are not likely to replace quickly.
  4. At this point, you are mostly done crafting. You can spend future Sparks on off-spec items, alternatively statted crafts for different situations, and so on.

Do note that using crests on crafted gear is much less efficient than upgrading gear directly, so it is generally a good idea to craft at Heroic item level, and only upgrading to Mythic after more important upgrades have been completed.

7.

Best Gear Crest Upgrades for Fury Warrior

You will be able to upgrade your items via Crests such as Gilded Undermine Crest Icon Gilded Undermine Crest. Once you have upgraded a slot to a certain item level, upgrading other items of that slot to that item level is free.

When you upgrade with Crests, you should think of it as upgrading slots and not items.

Additionally, since Crests are a limited resource, you will want to obtain the highest item-level possible before upgrading a given slot, as this means you will spend fewer Crests on that slot in total. If you are at all capable of doing a +9 Dungeon, for example, it would be a VERY bad idea to upgrade an item from a +8 Dungeon, as those are wasted Crests you may not get back for a very long time.

We see a ton of players, even at a high level, mess up their upgrade priorities, and upgrading prematurely. Getting this right will put you far ahead of most players.

Below is the slot priority you should upgrade your items in. If you ever want to deviate from this, you should have a very good reason.

  1. Weapons
  2. Trinkets
  3. Helm/Chest/Legs
  4. Shoulders/Gloves/Belt/Boots
  5. Rings and Necks
  6. Cloaks and Bracers

Note that exceptions are possible, such as special items that have more Item Level scaling than their slot would imply.

8.

Season 2 Tier Set for Fury Warrior

The Tier Set is comprised of 5 items, all carrying the Enforcer's Backalley moniker. Unique DPS bonuses are unlocked when wearing 2 or 4 pieces from the set:

  • Warrior Fury 11.1 Class Set 2pc Icon Warrior Fury 11.1 Class Set 2pc — Your abilities have a chance to start a Winning Streak! increasing the damage of Rampage by 2%, stacking up to 10 times. Rampage has a 15% chance to end your Winning Streak! Despite the convoluted wording, this is a very straightforward damage bonus, quickly building up in combat with a small chance of ending every time Rampage is cast.
  • Warrior Fury 11.1 Class Set 4pc Icon Warrior Fury 11.1 Class Set 4pc — When you gain a stack of Winning Streak! you have an even chance to either cause your next Bloodthirst to deal 15% increased damage and have 25% increased chance to critically strike or cause your next Raging Blow to deal 15% increased damage and generate 2 additional Rage. Simply put, every time Winning Streak! is triggered, another buff will also activate, benefitting either Bloodthirst or Raging Blow. This happens very quickly, and can even overlap, allowing both abilities to be buffed at the same time. Although it may seem as though players should prioritize whichever ability is currently buffed, the effect triggers frequently enough that it is typically better to just follow the regular rotation.

Although both bonuses are nice, neither are explicitly played around, instead handled passively while going about the normal rotation. That said, both have good uptime, so players will benefit from them regularly.

You only need 4 pieces out of 5 to get both set bonuses, so we recommend you get all items except for the Legs, and check out the BiS List for more information. Remember that you can use the Matrix Catalyst to convert regular items (from Mythic+, for example) into Tier pieces.
