Silvermoon City Rebuilt in Midnight But Horde Players Still Have the Keys

The Midnight expansion takes us back to Azeroth’s surface for a clash between Light and Void! Blizzard’s isn’t just giving us more lands to quest in, they’re rebuilding Silvermoon City and other zones such as Eversong Woods, or Zul’Aman. Let’s take a closer look at what to expect!

Eversong Woods, But Not How You Remember It

The campaign starts with the Defense of the Sunwell. Once ravaged by the Scourge, Eversong Woods has healed back into life, even swallowing much of what was once known as the Ghostlands!

Silvermoon City Rebuilt

Silvermoon City has been rebuilt into a player hub, complete with the Sanctum of Light, a new Memorial Garden, and the same faction identity! Some areas still remain Horde-only and won’t be accessible to Alliance players.

Blizzard’s goal is to make Alliance players feel like being guests, but never truly at home, in the revamped Silvermoon City.

Why Horde Keeps the Keys

Silvermoon is firmly tied to Blood Elf identity, which means the city is still deeply woven into Horde culture and for Blizzard it is important to maintain that exclusivity.

More Than Just Nostalgia

In the Midnight expansion, players will also visit the renewed Eversong Woods, the troll infested Zul’Aman, the bioluminescent jungles of Harandar, and the chaotic voidscape of the Voidstorm in the new expansion!
