28th Nov Patch Notes: Weapon Switching, Professions Interface Updates, Detective Investigation Fixes, and More!

Brighter Shores continues to concentrate on player experience with its latest patch released today, on November 28th, 2024. This update introduces better automatic weapon switching, improvements to the professions interface, and fixes for issues like Detective Investigation bounties and leaderboard glitches.

Quality of Life Improvements

  • Scrollpanes can now be scrolled by dragging anywhere on the scrollpane. This makes it a lot easier to play on Steam Link.
  • Make important NPCs show in front of other players.
  • Improve automatic weapon selection when auto retaliating or switching from range weapon.
  • Improve the professions interface to make it clearer that active combat foes have a different unlock level to their combat level.
  • Leaderboards now auto scroll so your own entry is in the middle of the view.

Sound Updates

  • Add a sound when you apply the final reward from the quest ‘The Brannof Inheritance’.

Bug Fixes

  • The level indicator on the Detective Investigations bounty board now updates to match the level of bounties it gives.
  • Leaderboards no longer let your compare yourself with yourself.
  • Other players splashing into the water is now affected by the 3rd party SFX volume control.
  • Other player’s projectile sounds are now affected by the 3rd party SFX volume control.
  • Fix a bug which prevented some players from completing the quest ‘Lost and Found’.
  • Fix map in Fortunehold Meadow.
  • Fix various typos.
