Brighter Shores: Information About Future Updates!

Andrew Gower, the creator of Brighter Shores, recently shared a sneak peek on X/Twitter about what is next for the game. If you are wondering what new features and improvements are coming soon, here is everything you need to know!

What Is Next for Brighter Shores?

The development team behind Brighter Shores continues to bring us updates that improve gameplay and add exciting new features. Here is a rundown of what is currently being worked on and set to release in the near future:

  • Knowledge Bar Improvements
The knowledge bar will soon extend to 200%, allowing you to save up progress for later without feeling pressured to spend it immediately. This update will make unlocking passives feel less stressful, and we can probably expect this feature in the next update, which is expected very soon, possibly within the next day or two.
  • Transmogs & Holiday-Themed Customization
A transmog system is in the works, yay! On top of that, there will be exclusive Christmas-themed transmogs that are only available during the holiday season! So make sure you collect them this Christmas, otherwise you are missing out!
  • Queued Actions for Smoother Gameplay
Soon, you will be able to queue actions, making tasks like chopping down multiple trees more efficient. So for example, you can shift-click multiple trees and your avatar will chop each one in sequence. With the queue showing as an interface overlay.
  • Player Trading
Trading between players is also being developed, making it easier to exchange items and resources.

The team and Andrew Gower have also teased a number of other upgrades, with even more exciting features planned for the future. So get ready for a bunch of bigger patches very soon!
