The latest Brighter Shores update has landed, bringing a bunch of quality-of-life improvements, musical enhancements, and bug fixes. Here is what is new in the February 11, 2025 patch:
- Quality of Life Improvements:
- Smarter Pathfinding: When clicking to move on the map, the pathfinding algorithm can now slightly extend outside the displayed circle, as long as the final destination remains within it. This tweak ensures more consistent and intuitive navigation.
- Music Enhancements:
- Improved the violin sections in two musical pieces.
- Bug fixes
- Move femur shard in Wolves’ Den, so wolves engaged in passive combat do not have to walk over it.
- Female characters will now drink potions properly, instead of pouring the potion over their head.
- Display the correct XP on investigation bounties. This does not change how much XP is awarded when the bounty is completed, just what is displayed.
- Fix bug where the ‘ventures ready to collect’ count incorrectly included expired wanted poster ventures.
- Fix error when entering North Peat Bog.
- Fix error when using the goblin whistle.
- Fix floating grass in Fallen Monument.
- Fix various typos.
