January 23 Patch Notes: Bug Fixes and Crafting Improvements

Another update has arrived for Brighter Shores! On January 23, 2025, Andrew Gower and the team released another small patch focused on bug fixes, mainly tied to Hopeforest, and a handy quality-of-life improvement to make crafting smoother.

Here is a quick summary of the changes:

Quality of Life Improvements

  • Auto-withdraw from the timber bank in weapon crafting rooms now only considers items you can craft in that specific room.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed auto-withdraw quantity for pine poles.
  • Addition of a missing question mark indicator to the west gate town guard when they act as a witness.
  • Resolved an issue where XP notifications would sometimes appear off-screen.
  • Fix of a bug where NPCs were unable to walk under tree canopies, causing multiple errors.
  • Various typos were addressed.
