The latest Brighter Shores patch is here, bringing quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and balance tweaks. One of the biggest changes? Combat level 100 is now reachable before choosing a faction!
This update went live on March 10, 2025, so make sure to update your game to see the changes.
Quality of Life:
- You may now reach combat level 100 before being required to choose a faction.
- Clicking on a tile you cannot walk to will no longer cancel your existing route. This is particularly useful when you are running up to the gates into Crenopolis.
- If you have a level boost potion active, the professions interface now shows as unlocked any activities which you can do by virtue of that potion.
Report Abuse Improvements:
- You can now indicate if you are reporting a player for inappropriate chat, inappropriate name, or macroing.
- You can now report anonymous players for macroing.
- The report abuse process now indicates more clearly how the report will be dealt with.
Bug fixes:
- Fix the price of crafted shields.
- Allow players who had access to the Mine of Mantuban before the combat rework to continue to enter via the main entrance, even if they do not meet the new requirements to do so.
- Fix various typos.
