This HotA Barbarian build is specifically created for The Thrill conquest (complete a Greater Rift 45 Solo without any Set items equipped).

The build plays similarly to a Legacy of Dreams-based HotA build. Keep up Battle Rage Battle Rage at all times and apply Ignore Pain Ignore Pain as you anticipate incoming damage. Pop your two long cooldowns, Wrath of the Berserker Wrath of the Berserker and Call of the Ancients Call of the Ancients, simultaneously and in key engagements to maximize the benefits of your equipped Remorseless Remorseless. Carefully aim your Furious Charge Furious Charge Merciless Assault Merciless Assault to take advantage of its reset mechanic and maintain maneuverability. Last but not least, pulverize every enemy in your path with Hammer of the Ancients Hammer of the Ancients Smash Smash.

In your gear, focus on items that enhance fire damage and promote a static fighting style to fall in line with the HotA mechanics. The crucial items to pull off this build are The Gavel of Judgment The Gavel of Judgment and Bracers of the First Men Bracers of the First Men. Other high tier recommendations are Remorseless Remorseless, Cindercoat Cindercoat and Band of Might Band of Might (cubed). The remaining suggestions are merely helpful, but will not make or break the run.

Properly allocated Kanai's Cube choices and decently leveled legendary gems (most crucially, Legacy of Dreams Legacy of Dreams) will trivialize The Thrill conquest. Do not neglect them.
