Since his introduction as an eternal endgame boss in the Season of Blood, we were able to fight Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint as his Level 60 version in WT3, and Level 75 Version in WT4. Now with Vessel of Hatred and Season 6, we are able to adjust the challenge of fighting Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint just by changing the difficulty that we are playing on. The higher the difficulty, the more loot that will drop. As with other endgame bosses, Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint has a special pool of uniques that he can drop.
How to Summon Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint
To summon Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint, You must acquire 12 Living Steel from Chests inside Helltides.
You then take those Living Steel to the Hall of the Penitent in Ked Bardu, make your way through the short dungeon, and place the materials upon the altar you find at the end.

Boss Mechanics
Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint, mainly deals Lightning and Physical damage.
Stagger Bar: Like most bosses in Diablo 4, Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint, has a stagger bar. Filling this bar will stun her, allowing you to deal damage without worrying about his attacks for a few seconds.
During the fight in addition to his default attacks, Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint, has a few mechanics to look out for:
- Upon Summoning him, the ground will crackle with electricity; make sure to not be standing in it when it discharges, it follows a simple pattern, starting from the outside, and working its way into the center where he will land. He will repeat this starting at around 60% HP.
- Mace Slam: He will slam his mace into the ground, causing red electrified circles to appear on the floor, make sure to be out of them when the lightning strikes them.
- Mace Swing: When he attacks with his mace, it will release sparking projectiles which will linger around the room.
- Summon Adds:
- Knights: Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint, will summon a group of knights around the player to quickly surround and overwhelm them. Use AoE to clear them out ASAP before you get overwhelmed.
- Pylons: Watch out for connected pylons that will have a lightning bolt between them or will electrify the ground, like when he was first summoned.
