How to Farm Uniques from Bosses in Diablo 4

Introduction

Since Season 2 of Diablo 4, we have been able to target farm Uniques from different bosses, including Mythic Uniques! Below, we will go into detail on which bosses drop which Uniques, and how to spawn those bosses.

Bosses

Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint

Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint, can be spawned by running Helltides and opening Tortured Offerings that now drop Living Steel, which is then used to access Grigoire. He will have a drop pool of Uniques, and a unique cosmetic Demonbinder Mount Armor (shown below), that only he can drop.

• Ring of the Midnight Sun

The Beast in the Ice

The Beast in Ice can be spawned by farming Nightmare Dungeons to start collecting Distilled Fear to take to the Glacial Fissure, fight your way to the Altar and use them to summon The Beast in the Ice. He will have a drop pool of Uniques and two unique cosmetics, The Skull Torch and Fell Steed Mount Trophies (shown below), that only he can drop.

Echo of Varshan

The Echo of Varshan can be spawned by collecting Malignant Heart‘s.

To summon the Echo of Varshan you must gather Malignant Heart‘s. All of these are gathered from completing Whispers and as random drops in Helltides from Elites, chests, and Treasure Goblins.

You will take these items to the cave right next to the world tree called the Malignant Burrow, go through them, and you will find an altar at the end to place the materials into and summon the boss.

Lord Zir

When you beat World Bosses or Legion Events you can get an Exquisite Blood drop, and once you collect enough of them they will let you summon Lord Zir the Dark Master. He will have a drop pool of Uniques and a unique cosmetic, The Diadem of the Ancient Helm (shown below), that only he can drop.

• Band of First Breath

Duriel, King of Maggots

Duriel, King of Maggots, can be fought only collecting Mucus-Slick Egg from Grigoire and Shard of Agony from Varshan. Collect enough of both the Shards and the Eggs, then you will be able to summon Duriel, King of Maggots. He is the most difficult new boss to be introduced, but is supposed to be slightly easier than Echo of Lilith. Duriel has a unique drop pool, an increased chance to drop Mythic Uniques, and a chance to drop the Smouldering Brimstone Mount, shown below this section.

The Echo of Andariel can be fought only by collecting Pincushioned Doll from The Beast, and Sandscorched Shackles from Lord Zir. Collect enough of both the Dolls and the Shackles, then you will be able to summon Uber Andariel.
