The March of the Goblins is a Diablo 4 event that massively increases Treasure Goblin spawns and introduces new goblin types to Sanctuary. The event runs from March 4 at 10 AM PST to March 11 at 10 AM PDT, during which goblins will appear far more frequently.
Once the event ends, the new Treasure Goblins—first introduced in Season 7—will stick around, but their spawn rate will drop significantly.
How to Start the Event
To participate, visit the Goblin Statue in Kyovashad. From there, you can track your Goblin Reputation, which rewards you as you slay these greedy creatures. The more Goblins you kill, the higher the chance that you will receive additional treasure bags from your goblin kills. Completing the reputation track for this event will reward you with a Resplendent Spark!
Where to Find Treasure Goblins
Treasure Goblins will spawn more often across all World Tiers, both in Sanctuary and in Dungeons. However, be careful, because certain rewards can only be received when playing in Torment difficulty.
During the event, you will also see an increase of Treasure Goblins from Avarice, the World Boss, and of Greed Shrines on your travels.
New Goblin Variants and Their Loot

This event introduces six new types of Goblins, each dropping specific types of rewards:
- Odious Ector: Drops Crafting Materials, including
Obducite in Torment Tiers.
- Gilded Baron: Drops large amounts of Gold.
- Glittering Prym: Drops Gem Fragments, Runes, and Undercity Tributes (in Torment Tiers).
- Curious Murl: Drops Murl’s Bag of Obols, which you can collect even if at max capacity.
- Gelatinous Syrus: Splits into more Goblins when killed. You must kill the smallest Goblins to receive the loot. They drop Legendary items, Gold, Boss summoning materials, and Elixirs.
- Fancy Old Fedric: Ultra-rare spawn, this goblin drops a Mythic Unique, and a
Resplendent Spark.
These new Goblins will stay in the game after the event, but their increased spawn rate will decrease, so farm them while you can!
