What Are Pets in Diablo IV?
Pets in Diablo IV are cosmetic companions that will follow you around while you adventure and pick up gold and materials for you.
Things Pets will pick up are:
- Gold
- Herbs
- Ores
- Gem Fragments
- Crafting Materials
- Forgotten Souls
- Murmuring Obols
- Aberrant Cinders
They will not grab objects such as quest items.
How Do I Unlock Pets?
Travel to Kyovashad to find the quest “Who’s a Good Boy” available from Well Behaved Dog.

What Pets Are There?
So far, there are 4 available pets:
Asheara the Canine is available through the in-game quest (shown below).
Alkor the Snow Leopard Pet, Natalya the Tiger Pet, or Hratli the Canine Pet (shown below) are available by pre-purchasing the Ultimate edition of Diablo IV’s first expansion: Vessel of Hatred.
How Do I Equip My Pets?
To equip your pets, head to your Wardrobe and then select the Pets Tab, where you will then be able to select which pet you choose to equip.
