What Are Pets in Diablo IV?
Pets in Diablo IV are cosmetic companions that will follow you around while you adventure and pick up gold and materials for you.
Things Pets will pick up are:
- Gold
- Herbs
- Ores
- Gem Fragments
- Crafting Materials
- Forgotten Souls
- Murmuring Obols
- Aberrant Cinders
They will not grab objects such as quest items or Scattered Prism.
How Do I Unlock Pets?
Travel to Kyovashad to find the quest “Who’s a Good Boy” available from Well Behaved Dog.

Pets List
Asheara the Canine is available through the in-game quest (shown below).
Alkor the Snow Leopard Pet, Natalya the Tiger Pet, or Hratli the Canine Pet (shown below) are available by pre-purchasing the Ultimate edition of Diablo IV’s first expansion: Vessel of Hatred.
Shop Pets
Pale Berry, prestige pet purchasable for 2,500 Platinum.
Quillgem Scamp, prestige pet purchasable for 2,500 Platinum.
Orinocta, the Owl, available in the Season 8 Deluxe Battle Pass Bundle for 2,800 Platinum.
Lily, the Cat, available in the shop.
Niccolo, Omen of Death, available in the Death’s Messenger Platinum Pack for 19,00 EUR.
The Schnoz, available with the Berserk collab in the shop.
Season Rewards
Dorian, the Raven, is a reward for players who completed the Season 7: Witchcraft Journey.
Anadea, the Owl, is a Reliquary reward in Season 8: Belial’s Return. It can be unlocked in the Premium Reliquary Beasts (500 Platinum).
Iris, the Cat, is a reward for players who completed the Season 8: Belial’s Return Journey.
How Do I Equip My Pets?
To equip your pets, head to your Wardrobe and then click on the Pet section. Pick the companion of your choice, and don’t forget to click on “confirm” at the bottom of the screen, before closing the wardrobe.
