Sparking is an effect that applies lightning damage over time (DoT) to players or enemies by using certain skills or items.

Sorceress and Druid are the only classes using Lightning abilities. However, Boss Powers (Season 8 mechanic) can apply Lightning DoT, too.

How to Apply Sparking

Sparking can be applied by both the player and enemies. Some skills, items, and passives can cause this effect. Some Legendary Aspects can also enhance this effect.

Here are some examples of Skills or Passives related to the Sparking Status Effect:

• Allek’s Talon Main Boss Power (Season 8): Casting a Basic Skill applies 200% Sparking damage over 4 seconds to enemies it hit.

How to Recognize Sparking

There are no distinct signs for this status effect.
