Rob salvaged around 100 Uber Uniques on the Season 5 PTR to craft 20 Grandfathers in the hope to see one with 2 or more Greater Affix. Find out how it went!
It all started with a bunch of Uber Uniques that Rob had to destroy for Resplendent Sparks. In the upcoming season, Uber Uniques have a distinct animation on the ground and unique sound when they drop.
Destroying them all yielded enough mats to craft 14 
The Grandfathers for a whopping 700 million gold and 56 Resplendent Sparks!
The result, was not quite what you’d expect! Only 1 out of the 14 grandpapas had 1 Greater Affix.
Next, Rob disenchanted all the 14 grandpapas to have enough mats to craft 4 more. Unfortunately, none of them had any Greater Affixes. The one you see in the corner is his current Grandfather with 1 affix that he wanted to upgrade.
Finally, he destroyed the four and crafted one last Grandfather and it still didn’t have any Greater Affix. This goes to show how rare Greater Affixes are. You can also watch Rob’s video below.
