Diablo 4 Patch 2.0 PTR Ready for Pre-Download


<p>Here&#8217;s a puzzler! A player managed to fail an Infernal Hordes run at the Council, but still &#8220;won&#8221; and got the chests! The kicker? They then could continue the run and re-try the bosses! </p>



<p><a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/jj_maxx/">Jj_maxx</a> managed to get the weirdest outcome in Infernal Hordes. After a particularly tricky Council fight and a final showdown with Geleb, jj succumbed to those pesky hydras. However, the boss was so low HP and died slightly after the Sorcerer, two closing screens popped up! The first was the failure one, immediately followed by the victory popup! </p>



<p>To make things even more confusing, the event then reset as if it had failed, only to spawn the victory chests in the room! But then a brand new Council spawned on top of that! </p>

The Ultimate Paradox: Winning and Losing Infernal Hordes at the Same Time


<p>Because the gigantic patch 2.0 PTR notes weren&#8217;t gigantic enough already, Blizzard have added a whole new section! </p>



<p>Gems are getting as much of a rework as basically everything else, aka a massive one. First off, we&#8217;re getting a brand new gem tier, Grand, requiring 100,000 fragments to craft! It will have 50% more stats than the currently most powerful tier. There&#8217;s also changes to what three types of gems do and basically all the bonuses for all gems have been adjusted, so let&#8217;s take a look. </p>

Set Town Portal to Your Favorite Location in Vessel of Hatred


<p>After the giant amount of information we received about 2.0 and Vessel of Hatred today, we also have a hotfix batch for the live game! </p>



<p>Disappearing items from the Avarice March of the Goblins spawn have been fixed. There are also changes to goblin drops. Rare and magic items will no longer drop on WT3 and 4, and other materials will be in fewer piles. </p>

All New Class Skills, Key Passives and Items Coming With Vessel of Hatred


<p>Blizzard announced the Runeword system today and also detailed all the currently planned ones!</p>



<p>In case you&#8217;re not sure how the Runewords system works, you can <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/runewords-return-to-diablo-in-vessel-of-hatred-grab-other-classes-skills/">check out the full details here</a>, but here&#8217;s a short summary as well:</p>
