Blizzard Investigating Elixir Health Bug


<p>It seems the Midwinter Blight event has turbocharged Cinder drop rates, as they&#8217;re basically 10 times more frequent! </p>



<p>Players have been noticing some insane numbers when it comes to Aberrant Cinders after today&#8217;s patch. We are seeing players opening every single Tortured chest with ease after only a short time spent in the Helltide. Aside from the special event enemies sometimes spawning in ambushes and the Red-Cloaked Horror occasionally replacing Hellborne, the actual drop rate of Cinders is through the roof. </p>



<p><a href="https://x.com/Rob_2628">Rob </a>went over the changes and estimated you can get around 1,000 Cinders per Blood Maiden run easily. He even managed to get over 15,000 with 8 minutes to go in a tide! </p>

<p>Now obviously these are extreme streamer numbers, but many more players have been reporting being able to clear the entirety of a Helltide&#8217;s chests after 30 minutes. </p>

Incredible Helltide Aberrant Cinder Increases: 15,000 Per Tide??


<p>Another holiday event, another week of Mother&#8217;s Blessing! While it wasn&#8217;t mentioned in either the event announcement post nor the patch notes, players already know to expect the XP and gold buff with every event that arrives to the game. </p>



<p>We&#8217;re getting the 35% experience and 50% gold gains boost once again. It lasts for the first week of the Midwinter Blight event.</p>

<p>The mid-season patch is here and it brought with it a new event. We&#8217;re getting some early holiday presents! </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Presents for All</h2>



<p>There&#8217;s a new Midwinter Ward interactable in Kyovashad and it&#8217;s spewing out gifts! You simply head to it and receive your one-time package. There&#8217;s everything from Nightmare Sigils to upgrade materials, as we get four Midwinter purses, ranging from Magic to Ancestral. There&#8217;s also the <a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip"><img decoding="async" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img" src="https://static.icy-veins.com/wp/static/d4/latest/images/icons/2DInventory_Consumables_9.webp" alt="Gileon's Brew"><span class="tooltip-spell-name" data-item-type="Elixir" data-item-quality="magic">Gileon&#8217;s Brew</span></span></a> elixir for some more XP, herb and material drops and 20% more damage! </p>



<p>The purses drop basically everything. There&#8217;s gold, Infernal Compasses, materials, herbs, runes, tributes, legendaries, Uniques, and more. </p>

The Red-Cloaked Horror also has a chance to appear in the Infernal Hordes and Dungeons to ambush you from the shadows. Defeat these frigid foes for increased rewards, such as Cinders, Burning Aether, and more.</p>
<p>The return of the Red-Cloaked Horror brings good tidings as well, for slaying the hulking beast is guaranteed to earn you the coveted—and improved—Gileon’s Brew. For 30 minutes, this fabled Elixir increases your damage dealt to enemies by 20%, causes enemies to routinely drop additional Herbs and Crafting Materials, and grants 15% increased Experience. Gileon’s Brew also has a chance to drop from Tortured Gifts in Helltide throughout the limited-time event.</p>

Get Free Presents in Midwinter Blight Diablo 4 Event: Greater Affix Uniques, Gold, Materials, Keys and More!


<p>Sorcerers aren&#8217;t getting as many changes as some of their fellow classes, but there&#8217;s still plenty of buffs to go around. Meteor and Incinerate get baseline damage buffs, with three passives also getting enhanced. Sorc also got the least love in the itemization department, with only three Aspects and one Unique getting some love. They did, however, get a few Glyphs buffed, which the other classes did not! </p>

Fire Away: All Sorcerer 2.0.5 Mid-Season 6 Patch Changes


<p>Rogues get plenty of attention in today&#8217;s mid-season patch! Their buffs are focused on skills and passives, as many got their baseline damage significantly increased, including most Core skills! When you add all those multipliers to these baseline changes, the damage is going to ramp up fast. Uniques are also getting quite a bit of love, with a lot of direct damage increases.</p>

<p>The Necromancer is set to receive the leas changes in today&#8217;s patch. They&#8217;re still getting plenty of buffs, however. Bone Splinters and Bone Storm are receiving the biggest improvements when it comes to skills. While Aspects and Uniques only got 3 entries a piece, passives got more attention. </p>

Mercenary Skill Tuning in Patch 2.0.5


<p>The mid-season patch is coming tomorrow and it brings many buffs to all classes. The non-Spiritborn are getting some major ones to compensate for the brokenness of the new class. So, let&#8217;s take a look at what Druids are getting! </p>



<p>Druids buff focus is on their passives, including some key passives, as companions, werewolf, werebear, and more get solid increases. Spirit Boons are also getting juiced up, and on the itemization side we see 4 Uniques empowered, but a more significant 7 Aspects buffed as well. </p>

Companions, Shapeshifting and Key Passive Buffs: Druid Changes in 2.0.5 Mid-Season 6 Patch


<p>It&#8217;s time to check out the Spiriborn-chasing class buffs that arrive this Tuesday! We start with Barbarians as they get a whole lot of skill damage buffs, including Core skills, which makes all those multipliers stacked on top of the base skill damage a lot more powerful. There&#8217;s also plenty of Unique item changes, as well as a few for Aspects. Passives and Paragon nodes get a couple of tweaks as well, and we&#8217;ll see how it all goes once the patch is live. </p>



<p>Blizzard have said that they do not expect the buffs to bring the other classes to the Spiritborn&#8217;s sub-3-minute Pit 150 clear power, but they should bump them up quite a bit. Barbs are currently the second best class when it comes to Pit clears, with a tier 123 best, but that&#8217;s all set to change with the other class buffs as well.
