We’re taking a look at all the datamined changes coming to Rogues in the next season, based on PTR data. There’s plenty of changes to existing Aspects as well as new ones added, skills get a look, and we’re even checking out the individual rank changes for them.

We have buffs for cold and poison builds, some crit damage for bosses, and many changes to Grenade skills, so let’s dive in.

Rogue Aspects and Changes in Season 5

  • Aspect Of True Sight (New)You deal 100% increased Critical Strike Damage to enemies marked by Inner Sight.
  • Coldclip Aspect (New)Your Basic Skills are always Cold Imbued. You deal 20% increased damage to enemies who are Chilled or Frozen.
  • Clandestine Aspect (New)Gain 16 to Agility and Subterfuge Skills.
  • Enshrouding AspectGain Using a Healing Potion makes a free Dark Shroud shadow shadow. every 2 seconds when standing still. Each Dark Shroud shadow grants 4.0% increased Damage Reduction.
  • Aspect Of Surprise – When you Evade or Shadow Step, you drop a cluster of exploding Stun Grenades that deal 1% 2% of Weapon Damage total Physical damage and Stun enemies for 1.0 second. Your Stun Grenade Grenades Skills deal 40% increased damage.
  • Trickster’s Aspect – Caltrops also and Smoke Grenade receive your Stun Grenade benefits and throw a cluster of exploding Stun Grenades that deal 1% of Weapon Damage total Physical damage and Stun enemies for 1.0 1 second. Your Stun Grenade Grenades Skills deal 40% increased damage.
  • Aspect Of Arrow Storms – Lucky Hit: Your Marksman and Cutthroat Skills have up to a 25% chance to create an Arrow Storm at the enemy’s location, dealing 2% 3% of Weapon Damage Physical damage over 3 seconds. Your Arrow Storms deal 45% 60% increased damage.
  • Aspect Of Bursting Venoms – Lucky Hit: Poison Imbued Skills have up to a 15% chance to create a toxic pool that deals 3% 4% of Weapon Damage Poisoning damage over 3 seconds to enemies within. While standing in the pool, your Poison Imbuement Skill has no Cooldown and no Charge limit.
  • Vengeful Aspect – Lucky Hit: Damaging a Vulnerable enemy has up to a 25% chance to create an Arrow Storm at the enemy’s location , dealing 2% 3% of Weapon Damage Physical damage over 3 seconds. Your Arrow Storms deal 40% 60% increased damage.
  • Escape Artists Aspect – Upon taking damage from surrounding enemies, you drop a Smoke Grenade and Dodge the next 17 attacks within 10 seconds. Can This effect can only occur once every 20 seconds.
  • Aspect Of Stolen VigorEach While at maximum stack stacks of the Momentum Key Passive Passive, Heals your Cutthroat Skills deal 35% increased damage and you become Unstoppable for 3 552 Life per second seconds every 8 seconds. and grants you 5% Damage Reduction.
  • Opportunist’s Aspect – When you enter or break Stealth, you drop a cluster of exploding Stun Grenades around you that deal 2% of Weapon Damage total Physical damage and Stun enemies for 1.0 second. Your Stun Grenade Grenades Skills deal 40% increased damage.
  • Aspect Of Noxious Ice – Chilled enemies Poisoned by Poison Imbuement will be further Chilled for 20% per second. You deal 30% 35% additional Poison damage to Frozen enemies.
  • Ravager’s Aspect – Shadow Step has an additional Charge. Killing an enemy with Shadow Step refunds a Charge and increases the damage of Shadow Step by 10.0% 12.0% for 2 seconds, up to 40%. 48%.
  • Frostbitten Aspect – Enemies hit by your Stun Grenade Grenades Skills have a chance equal to your Critical Strike Chance to be Frozen for 2 seconds. You deal 25% increased Critical Strike Damage against Frozen or Stunned enemies.
  • Aspect Of Artful Initiative – When you spend 75 Energy you release a cluster of exploding Stun Grenades that deal 1% of Weapon Damage total Physical damage and Stun enemies for 1.0 seconds. Your Stun Grenade Grenades Skills deal 40% increased damage.
  • Aspect Of Nebulous Brews (New)Using a Healing Potion grants 50% Movement Speed for 3 seconds. Every 30 meters you travel, you spawn a Healing Potion.
  • Breakneck Bandit’s Aspect (New)Flurry deals 0% increased damage and has a 20% chance to Stun enemies for 3 seconds with each hit.
  • Galvanized Slasher’s Aspect (New)Lucky Hit: Damaging an enemy with a Mobility Skill has up to a 30% chance to fully restore your Energy. Your Maximum Energy is increased by 25.
  • Aspect Of Iron Rain (New)Smoke Grenade has a 50% chance to create an Arrow Storm where it explodes, dealing 2% of Weapon Damage Physical damage over 3 seconds. Your Arrow Storms continuously apply Vulnerable.
  • Mired Sharpshooters Aspect (New)Caltrops is now a Marksman Skill that also throws 20 piercing daggers over its duration, each dealing 0% of Weapon Damage Shadow damage and applying Vulnerable for 3 seconds.

Non-Class-Specific Aspects and Changes in Season 5

  • Aspect Of Inevitable Fate (New)When an enemy falls below 35% Life while afflicted with any of your damage over time effects, an explosion occurs every 7 seconds, dealing 4% of Weapon Damage damage for each element they’re afflicted by.
  • Wildbolt Aspect (New)Every 2.0 seconds, Distant enemies are Pulled In to you and take 10% increased damage for 3 seconds.
  • Sticker Thought Aspect (New)Gain 11491 Thorns while Channeling and for 3 seconds afterwards.
  • Aspect Of Sly Steps (New)When you would accumulate 50% of your Maximum Life lost, you automatically cast an equipped Defensive, Subterfuge or Macabre Skill before receiving damage. Can only occur once every 30 seconds and cannot cast Mobility Skills.
  • Aspect Of The Dark Dance (New)Every 5 seconds, your next Core Skill costs 230 Life instead of Primary Resource. Will only occur if you have at least 60% of your Maximum Life. Skills that consume Life deal 80% increased damage.
  • Aspect Of Creeping Death (New)You deal 20.0% increased damage over time to enemies for each different Crowd Control effect they’re afflicted by. Unstoppable enemies and Staggered Bosses take 40% increased damage over time from you instead.
  • Aspect Of The Prudent Heart (New)After being damaged for at least 20% of your Maximum Life at once, you become Immune for 4.0 seconds. Can only occur once every 20 seconds.
  • Ghostwalker Aspect – While Unstoppable and for 4 seconds after, you gain 25% increased Movement Speed and are Unhindered. can move freely through enemies.
  • Aspect Of Audacity – When there are at least 5 Close enemies, Stun them for 4 seconds. Can This can only occur once every 20 seconds.

Rogue Skill Changes in Season 5

  • Advanced FlurrySuccessive casts of Evading through an enemy will cause your next Flurry increase its damage by 15% and reduce its Energy cost by 10%, up to 3 times. deal 30% increased damage and Stun enemies for 2.5 seconds.
  • AftermathWhile an Ultimate is on your Action Bar, you Heal 0.5% Maximum Life every second. After using an Ultimate Ultimate, Skill, restore 30 25 Energy.
  • Alchemical AdvantageYou gain 1% Dealing Poison damage increased increases your Attack Speed and Lucky Hit Chance by 1% for 8 seconds, each enemy you’ve Poisoned, up to 15%. 5% .
  • Blade Shift – Generate Combo Point: 1 Lucky Hit Chance: 50% Quickly stab your victim for 20% 30% damage and shift, allowing making you Unhindered to move freely through enemies for 4 seconds.

  • Cold Imbuement – Cooldown: 13 seconds Imbue your weapons with frigid energies. Your next 2 Imbueable Skills deal Cold damage and Chill enemies for 25% 50% per hit.
  • Concealment – Cooldown: 20 seconds Vanish from sight, gaining an advanced form of Stealth for 5 seconds that will not be removed by taking damage. Concealment also makes you Unstoppable, grants 30% Movement Speed, and allows you to move freely through enemies for its duration. Using an attack Skill during Concealment will break Concealment.
  • Countering Dark Shroud – While you have at least 2 1 active shadows shadow from Dark Shroud, gain 8% 10% Critical Strike Chance.
  • Countering Poison Trap – Poison Trap has a 30% 40% chance to reset your Imbuement Skill Cooldowns when activated.
  • Countering Smoke GrenadeHitting an Elite or Boss with your Lucky Hit: Dealing direct damage to enemies affected by Smoke Grenade has up to a 25% chance to reduce reduces its Cooldown by 5 1 second, or by 3 seconds seconds. instead if the enemy is Vulnerable.

  • Disciplined DashAt the end of Dash Slows , Knock Down surrounding enemies it hits by 30% for 3 seconds. Any enemy already Slowed will be Dazed for 2 seconds instead. and deal 350% of its damage to them.
  • Disciplined Shadow StepDamaging Shadow Step’s Cooldown is reduced by 3 seconds when it damages an enemy you have not hit with Shadow Step in Stuns the them last 4 for 2 seconds and reduces its Cooldown by 3 seconds.
  • Enhanced Dark ShroudEach active Dark Shroud’s Shroud shadows shadow have grants you 5% Movement Speed and also has a 14% 15% chance to not be consumed.
  • Enhanced DashCasting Enemies damaged by Dash take 15% increased increases your Critical Strike Damage from you Chance by 10% for 5 seconds.
  • Enhanced Flurry – Each time Flurry damages hits an enemy, it has a Crowd Controlled 10% chance to apply Vulnerable or for 3 seconds and deals 1% increased damage for 5 seconds after hitting a Vulnerable enemy, you are Healed for 1% of your Maximum Life, up to a total of 50%. 12% Maximum Life per cast.
  • Enhanced Penetrating ShotCasting Penetrating Shot deals 10% increased damage per enemy and hitting a Boss or Elite with it pierces. has a 25% chance to fire it an additional time for free.

  • Fundamental Blade Shift – Moving through enemies while Blade Shift is active refreshes its duration. After moving through enemies 5 3 times, your next Blade Shift will Daze enemies for 2 seconds.
  • Impetus – After moving 12 15 meters, your next NonBasic Core or Ultimate attack deals 7% 8% increased damage. While the damage bonus remains, your Agility and Subterfuge Skills deal 5% increased damage.
  • Improved FlurryCasting Flurry dashes you deals 20% increased damage to the target and Heals 10% of your Maximum Life. Vulnerable enemies. If Flurry hits any Vulnerable enemy it will make all enemies hit by that cast Vulnerable for 3 seconds.
  • Invigorating Strike – Generate Combo Point: 1 Lucky Hit Chance: 50% Melee attack an enemy, dealing 25% 30% damage and increasing Energy Regeneration by 20% for 3 seconds.
  • Malice – You deal 3% increased damage to Vulnerable or Knocked Down enemies.
  • Methodical DashDealing damage to Crowd Controlled enemies with Dash reduces has 1 additional Charge and its Charge Cooldown is reduced by 3 0.5 seconds, up to 4 seconds seconds. per cast.

  • Primary Blade Shift – While Blade Shift is active you gain 15% Resistance to All Elements and reduce the duration of incoming Control Impairing Effects by 20% 30% .
  • Rain of Arrows – Cooldown: 55 50 seconds Lucky Hit Chance: 2% 4% Arrows rain down over a large area 2 times, each wave dealing 110% damage.
  • Rapid GambitsEvading through an enemy Dazes them for 2 seconds. Your Evade Cooldown is reduced by 0.5 0.25 seconds when you Daze an enemy.
  • Second Wind – Every 100 Energy you spend grants 15% of you your 5% increased Lucky Hit Chance Maximum Life as a Barrier for 5 3 seconds.
  • Shadow Imbuement – Cooldown: 13 seconds Lucky Hit Chance: 33% Imbue your weapons with festering shadows. Your next 2 Imbueable Skills deal Shadow damage and infect enemies for 6 seconds. Infected enemies explode on death, dealing 40% 80% damage to all surrounding enemies. If the infection expires before the enemy dies, it will deal 40% 80% damage to only that enemy.

  • Concealment – Cooldown: 20 seconds Vanish from sight, gaining an advanced form of Stealth for 5 seconds that will not be removed by taking damage. Concealment also makes you Unstoppable, grants 30% Movement Speed, and allows you to move freely through enemies for its duration. Using an attack Skill during Concealment will break Concealment.
