Diablo 4 Season 4 Start Times Revealed


<p>The Butcher is undeniably Diablo 4&#8217;s most famous and most well-liked monsters/feature. However, he hasn&#8217;t been very scary or relevant for a while. As player power skyrocketed in recent seasons, he gets dealt with more and more easily. </p>



<p>Well, Season 5 is looking to fix that. It&#8217;s adding a new and different-looking version of the other Big Red, hoping to bring scary back! The Burning Butcher is even more spiky than the original, and <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@Viettzz">Viett</a> caught him in action. He appears in a maximum level (Tier 8) Infernal Hordes wave, as part of the regular enemies, and is pretty tough. Viett even says he&#8217;s harder than any of the bosses in the mode, and any Pit level 100-200 boss as well! </p>



<p>Unfortunately Viett is running Tyrael&#8217;s Might with the Elixir of Holy Bolts and Whirlwind, so the screen is pretty cluttered. But the Butcher still manages to poke his head through, so let&#8217;s take a look.</p>

<p><br>The actual difficulty on the Season 5 PTR is a little on the light side, as builds are still pretty overpowered, with some tuning coming before the season goes live. And so the Butcher could be back in his scary version with the new season! Here&#8217;s hoping.</p>

<p>This feature places a map pin on your selected quest or a task from the in-game journal and shows a route on your mini-map to the chosen destination.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Audio Navigation Assistance</h2>



<p>This feature provides spatial audio pings to guide you to your placed pin on the overworld map. The volume and interval of pings can be adjusted to suit your preferences.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Compass</h2>



<p>This feature places an arrow around your character that points towards your placed pin. The arrow color can be customized for better visibility.</p>

<p>Find out everything you need to know about Infernal Hordes, the new activity coming in Diablo 4 Season 5!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Infernal Compasses</h2>



<p>It all starts with an <strong>Infernal Compass</strong> that grants access to Infernal Hordes. Compasses can be found by killing endgame bosses, Helltides, Nightmare Dungeons, and Whispers. You will receive your first compass from the new Season 5 questline. Compasses drop in the following locations and conditions:</p>



<ul>
<li><strong>Tier I</strong> &#8211; Drops at World Tier 3.</li>



<li><strong>Tier II</strong> &#8211; Drops at World Tier 4. Includes Bonus Affixes which increase crafting mats, Legendary and Unique Drop Rates.</li>



<li><strong>Tier III</strong> &#8211; Drops at Level 100. Includes Bonus Affixes and Spoils of Greater Equipment.</li>
</ul>



<p>However, Infernal Compasses can be upgraded to higher tiers (IV to VIII), using <strong>Abysall Scrolls</strong>.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Infernal Hordes</h2>



<p>Once you&#8217;ve collected a compass, you can use it to open a portal straight to the Realm of Hatred.</p>



<p>There, you must defeat time-limited waves, lasting 90 seconds each.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Infernal Offer</h2>



<p>Upon successfully clearing each wave, the <strong>Infernal Offer</strong> gives you a choice of 3 different kiss/curse effects that modify your run. For example, the Elite damage will be increased, but Elites will grant more <strong>Burning Aether</strong>.</p>



<p>Infernal Offers provide you with a chance to increase the difficulty of your run to earn more <strong>Burning Aether</strong>.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Burning Aether</h2>



<p>Burning Aether is the currency you collect from slaying Aether Fiends and Aether Lords, or by destroying Soulspires and Aetheric Masses. It is used at the end of a successful Infernal run to unlock <strong>Spoils of Hell</strong>.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Battle Fell Priests</h2>



<p>When you survive all the Infernal Hordes, it is time to defeat the Fell Council. There will be 5 council members in total, and every time you face the boss, there will be 3 different members to fight you, ensuring your fights are never the same.</p>

<p>Once defeated, you can spend your Burning Aether on the <strong>Spoils of Hell</strong>.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Spoils of Hell</h2>



<p>When your Infernal run is successful, you can use the accumulated <strong>Burning Aether</strong> to unlock <strong>Spoils of Hell</strong>. There are multiple spoils available when you complete your run: These include:</p>

<li>Spoils of Equipment;</li>



<li>Spoils of Materials;</li>



<li>Spoils of Gold;</li>



<li>Spoils of Greater Equipment (Guarantees an item with a Greater Affix).</li>

<p>The latest Diablo 4 patch has introduced a surge of dead-end maps, particularly <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/the-pit-of-the-artificers-guide/">in Pits</a>, leaving players frustrated and perplexed.</p>



<p>We&#8217;ve all experienced it: trying to speed farm only to hit multiple dead ends and having to backtrack through the dungeon to find a way out.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to Fix the Annoying Dead End Backtracking in Diablo 4?</h2>



<p>Fortunately, there is a simple workaround for the issue! If you uncover the entire map in the boss room (the small area just south of the boss antechamber), you&#8217;ll respawn there if you die, eliminating the need to backtrack.</p>
