Diablo 4 Season 7 Hotfixes, February 6th: Armory Returns


<p>A fix for the ongoing Armory issues is being finalized and will enter testing at noon. Once approved by QA, the hotfix will be deployed, and the Armory will be enabled again.</p>

        <p>Some updates on Armory:</p>
<p>We have a fix being finalized for testing at noon. Once we get confirmation that we are good from the QA standpoint, we will push this fix out via hotfix.</p>
<p>Apologies for the bump in the road with the Armory. We had a situation where a slew of updates were checked into the build that led to some issues with the armory. We are being super careful with the fix as we want to ensure we aren’t affecting any player data when things come back online.</p>
<p>We will have additional updates when available after testing.</p>

Armory Fix Incoming: Hotfix in Final Testing Phase


<p>Recently, we reported on <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/adam-jackson-leaves-blizzard-what-is-next-for-diablo-4/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Adam Jackson&#8217;s departure from the Diablo 4 team</a> at Blizzard, marking the end of an impressive chapter in his career. Having spent over 15 years at Blizzard, Adam played a big role in the Diablo franchise, gathering a lot of experience and contributing greatly to the game&#8217; design.</p>



<p>Now, Adam Jackson is taking his many years of knowledge to one of Blizzard&#8217;s biggest competitors: Riot Games. He will be working on an unannounced title, making the gaming community wonder about what exciting project he might be involved with next.</p>

<p>While this is a big loss for Blizzard, the company will continue to maintain its commitment to quality with a strong design team still in place for <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 4</a>. As for Adam, we look forward to seeing him in his new role and contributing to Riot&#8217;s future projects. And since he truly did a good job in helping the creation of Diablo 4, it seems the future of whatever Riot cooks up next, is looking bright.</p>


From Diablo to Riot Games: Adam Jackson Joins New Unannounced Project!


<p>A Diablo 4 player, known as Reddit user <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/f5reaper/">f5reaper</a>, has shocked everyone by looting four <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/how-to-farm-uber-uniques/">Mythic Uniques</a> from<a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/echo-of-varshan-boss-guide/"> Varshan</a> in just under two hours. This unexpected loot spree comes amid ongoing discussion about the extreme rarity of Mythic Uniques in the game.</p>



<p>The player shared they had 130 <span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip"><a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><img decoding="async" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img" src="https://static.icy-veins.com/wp/static/d4/latest/images/icons/2DInventory_Malignant_4.webp" alt="Malignant Heart"><span class="tooltip-spell-name" data-item-type="Boss Summoning" data-item-quality="normal">Malignant Heart</span></a></span>s and got 2 polearms, the amulet, and a chest piece.</p>

Diablo 4 Player Stuns Community After Farming 4 Mythic Uniques in Just 2 Hours—New Best Farm Discovered?


<p>In the latest 2.1.1 update for Diablo 4, developers have addressed an issue that has been frustrating a lot of us players. After multiple complaints, the positioning of the altar and boss spawn has been adjusted to make looting easier. Previously, when you quickly killed a boss like Varshan or Andariel, the loot often dropped right on top of the altar, forcing you to click the altar repeatedly instead of picking up the gear, which was especially annoying for controller users.</p>

<p>This tweak, which adjusts either the position of the altar or the boss, has been well-received by the community as a much-needed quality-of-life improvement. It is a small but impactful change that should make the gameplay experience better for many!</p>


Quality of Life Fix for Altar and Boss Positioning in Diablo 4


<p>Blizzard has posted a new round of hotfixes. The Decay Augmentation Witch Power has been re-enabled, and they also fixed an issue where players who missed a Season Journey objective for achieving Coven Reputation ranks couldn&#8217;t earn these after reaching max reputation.</p>

Diablo 4 Season 7 Hotfixes: February 5th: Decay Augmentation Witch Power Re-Enabled


<p>For the first time, Blizzard is offering pets for sale in Diablo 4! Two new prestige pet bundles, Pale Perry and Quillgem Scamp, have been added to the in-game shop, each priced at a hefty 2500 Platinum.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Is in the Bundles?</h2>



<p>Both bundles include a pet, a mount trophy, and an emblem/banner. </p>

<p>While new rare pets are also available as free rewards through seasonal content, this is the first time Blizzard has made them purchasable. However, many players find the 2500 Platinum price tag rather high, which led to quite a few discussions on whether or not the cost is justified.</p>

<p>Lilith is the final boss of Diablo 4&#8217;s campaign and remains one of the hardest fights in the game. Not only does she have deadly one-shot mechanics, but she is also a real test of skill due to her multiple phases &#8211; especially if you take her on solo at higher Torment tiers.</p>



<p>But is it actually worth fighting her more than once per season?&nbsp;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">First-Time Kill Rewards</h2>



<p>If you beat Lilith solo for the first time, you will earn:</p>

<li><strong>The Bloody Liquid Steed</strong> (Exclusive Mount)</li>

<p>And once per season, your first Lilith kill also grants one <a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip"><img decoding="async" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img" src="https://static.icy-veins.com/wp/static/d4/latest/images/icons/2DInventory_Quest_MiscTrinkets_11.webp" alt="Resplendent Spark"><span class="tooltip-spell-name" data-item-type="Crafting Material" data-item-quality="mythic">Resplendent Spark</span></span></a>, which you can use for crafting Mythic Uniques.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Is It Worth Fighting Lilith Multiple Times?</h2>



<p>Not really. Once you have defeated her on Torment 1, you get all the rewards, including the Resplendent Spark. Fighting her on higher Torment tiers will not give you any extra loot; it is purely for bragging rights, testing your build, or taking on a personal challenge.</p>



<p>That said, if you enjoy the fight and want to see how your build holds up, going for a higher-tier kill can still be a fun goal.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Tips for Beating Lilith</h2>



<p>If you are struggling with the fight, here are a few things that can help:</p>



<ul>
<li><strong>Use a strong build</strong> &#8211; You will need high armor, resistances, and ideally a lot of movement speed. Lilith&#8217;s second phase has a lot of mechanics that force you to stay mobile.</li>



<li><strong>Play in a group</strong> &#8211; If you are only after the Resplendent Spark, you can bring friends along for an easier fight. However, if you want the <em>Lilith&#8217;s Doom</em> title, you will need to defeat her solo.</li>



<li><strong>Fight her on Torment 1</strong> &#8211; Lilith is available from Torment 1 to 4, but if you just want the seasonal reward, there is no reason to make things harder than they need to be.</li>



<li><strong>Watch out for her mechanics</strong> &#8211; Even on Torment 1, her white, flying, ghostly-looking orbs are almost always a one-shot. The burning ground and other AoE attacks can also stack up quickly, so movement speed and good defensive stats are very helpful.</li>
</ul>



<p>At the end of the day, Lilith is one of the hardest fights in Diablo 4, but unless you are doing it for fun or to test a build, there is no real reason to farm her more than once per season.</p>


Should You Fight Lilith More Than Once Per Season in Diablo 4?


<p>Blizzard have announced that the Armory feature added in Season 7 is temporarily disabled. It seems it has been causing many crashes since today&#8217;s patch 2.1.1. </p>
