It seems we’re getting a proper holiday event after all!
The Leak
It seems players have spotted a new event coming to Diablo 4 this month. Notifications have started coming in on PlayStation for the Slay Ride to Hell event!
What Is It?
As you can see from DasGoat0180‘s post above, the event seems to feature goblins with a holiday gift theme, and at least one reindeer-flavored mount! The exact details of the event aren’t known as Blizzard hasn’t officially announced it yet. There’s an expanded version of the banner as well, adding more details:
It seems very similar to the March of the Goblins event we’ve already seen, but with some new additions. It seems we’ll be hunting goblins to fill up some sort of Tier meter, and then picking up rewards in Kyovashad. This is very similar to the Midwinter totem which already gave us some presents! There’s even free shop cosmetics to go with it! That is, if we manage to find and fell enough of the little treasure thieves!
When Does It Start and How Long Does It Last?
It seems we won’t have to wait long. The Slay Ride to Hell is set to start next week, on December 17th! It will last two weeks, until the 31st, so there should be plenty of time to get those Tier 5 rewards.
And don’t forget, even if you’re done with the season, those shop cosmetics carry over into the next one, unlike the gear which only remains on Eternal realms!
