Diablo 4’s Wardrobe Gets a Big Visual Upgrade

While many Diablo 4 players are focused on creating the most powerful builds to farm endgame activities with, others take just as much pride in their character’s appearance. This season, Blizzard has treated fans of cosmetics with a much-needed wardrobe revamp, and the community has definitely noticed!

A Complete Revamp of the Wardrobe Interface

Blizzard did not announce the changes to the wardrobe ahead of time, but we all saw the big difference within the first few hours of gameplay.

Here is what the wardrobe looked like before:

And now, say hello to the new wardrobe:

The new wardrobe not only includes your armor cosmetics but also weapons, back pieces, visual effects like death totems and town portals, and, of course, your pets!

Talking about Pets: This season introduces a special treat for pet collectors: Dorian the Raven, the first flying pet. By completing the challenging Season Journey, you can unlock this new companion to accompany you through Sanctuary.

When it comes to your outfit, Blizzard made it easier to pick your pigments. A quick tip for newcomers: you can long-click (hold left-click or your interact button on the controller) a pigment to color your entire outfit in one go, instead of manually selecting the color for each piece.

Still, there is room for improvement. For instance, the wardrobe could benefit from a feature to select an entire armor set with one click; no more hunting through your gear and squinting at the names to match pieces from the same set or season. Now that would truly be another big improvement!

Changing Your Mount Has Never Been Simpler

Blizzard did not stop at character cosmetics. The wardrobe now includes a Stable tab accessible directly from your character window. You can easily choose your mount and mount trophies without having to go back to the Stablemaster, a small but impactful quality-of-life upgrade that was long overdue.

Blizzard has also updated the in-game shop to match the sleek new wardrobe interface. Packages and bundles are now much clearer, making it easier to browse and choose the perfect cosmetic additions for your character.

Blizzard’s Commitment to Quality-of-Life Upgrades

This wardrobe update builds on improvements from Season 7, when Blizzard introduced visual representations for appearances instead of the old arrowed lists. This shows that the team continues to listen to player feedback, striving to make Diablo 4’s systems more user-friendly and accessible. We are excited to see the next advancements in future updates. But for now; happy demon-hunting and good loot!
