Blizzard’s Diablo 4 has crossed the $1 billion revenue mark since its release in June 2023, with around $150 million coming from in-game purchases!

Blizzard has hit a major milestone with Diablo IV. According to a LinkedIn profile by Harrison Froeschke, Senior Product Manager, the game has generated over $1 billion in revenue. This figure includes $150 million from microtransactions, such as cosmetics.

It’s important to point out that Blizzard did not release this information through official channels, but instead, it was revealed via Froeschke’s job description on LinkedIn.

How It All Began…

DIablo IV started generating impressive revenue right after launch, earning $666 million in just 5 days, largely driven by pre-orders. As of June 2024, the game was added to Xbox Game Pass, which likely contributed to the continued financial success.
