Update: and here’s confirmation that there was indeed no stealth fix to the drop rates by Adam Fletcher aka PezRadar himself:
There’s been a lot of talk about the very sough-after Tempest Roar Druid Unique helm, as players just can’t seem to get it. This is in part due to the class’s unique pool being a little bugged now, with Barbarian items frequently dropping. Blizzard have actually confirmed this and are working on a fix.
However, we’ve now seen 3 separate posts with some very, very lucky Druids getting that drop, which has led some to think that there may have been a stealth fix. This is very much unconfirmed and three drops doesn’t mean much, just some very lucky players doing a lot of grinding.
Meanwhile, the posts where these lucky ones share their Tempest Roar drops have become the focal point of the conversation. Druids have been gathering in posts like the one below to bemoan the problematic drop rates, alternative builds, theorize on the possible stealth fix and more. So if you’re among those affected, head on in there and share your frustrations or dig up a different build – or just join your fellow shapeshifters and commiserate!
We’ve seen three posts celebrating players finally getting their hands on it today, but again, that doesn’t mean the issue is fixed. Blizzard haven’t announced any hotfixes or solutions for the issue.
You can also find some alternative builds in our own Druid guide section over here.
