<p>We have some good news as even more materials will be more plentiful with a new update coming soon! After the Forgotten Soul drought that was recently improved the next materials crisis became hides and iron. </p>



<p>Global Director of Community Adam Fletcher shared the good news. Rawhide and Iron Chunk quantities received from salvaging will be increased! It&#8217;s coming with patch 2.0.3, which is set to arrive at the end of the week. </p>

<p>2.0.3 will also bring a fix for the issues players have been having with Resplendent Sparks not dropping from the first Uber Lilith kill of the season. </p>

Increased Rawhide and Iron, As Well As Lilith Spark Fix  Coming With Season 6 Patch 2.0.3 Later This Week


<p>We have a new batch of hotfixes. A fix was implemented for an exploit players were using to repeatedly get the minimum rewards from chest by picking up Aethers one at a time. Chests will no longer disappear and reappear. Also, materials and gold chests can only be opened once. There&#8217;s also a fix for another exploit in Kurast Undercity. </p>

<p>Global Director of Community Adam &#8220;Pezradar&#8221; Fletcher teased the 2.0.3 patch notes this morning! The patch is expected to roll out later this week and we have some details.</p>



<p>Before the full 2.0.3 drops, we can expect a few more smaller patches and hotfixes in between. We also know some of the improvements coming with the patch. We&#8217;re getting increased salvage amounts for Rawhide and Iron Scraps. There&#8217;s also a fix for issues with Radiant Sparks on Uber Lilith, and possibly a fix for Seething Opals expiring too soon. </p>

Patch 2.0.3 Notes Preview Dropping Soon—What to Expect This Week!


<p>Many players have been wondering how and, more importantly, if Seething Opals are working right now. The seasonal reputation gains have gotten a lot of criticism/doubts to whether they&#8217;re doing anything at all in particular, as players only noticed the +20 rep on the first kill after popping an Opal. </p>



<p>Today we have Content Supervisor Don Adams clarifying just what&#8217;s going on with the new Season 6 consumable.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Are Opals Working Correctly?</h2>



<p>First things first, yes, Opals are currently working as intended. There is one notable bug &#8211; they sometimes expire before their timer runs out. This is a rare occurrence, but it is being fixed soon. The more important part is that both the reputation and loot gains are active and functioning. Let&#8217;s let Adams explain:</p>

Seething Opal Reputation and Loot Buff Clarifications and Bug Fixes


<p>It seems the Spiritborn Evade spam build is about to get a lot less spammy. </p>



<p>The build relies on just Evading away and destroying everything in your path, as we covered here. However, it seems the Evade animations were a little too fast, breaking the way normal Evades work. This is going to get hotfixed, and the Evade cast animations will be the same as for other classes. This will also reduce the damage being done by the build.</p>



<p>The change is expected to come later this week. </p>

<p><span class="css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3">We also looked at the Spiritborn&#8217;s Evade cast animations that some are employing in specific builds. This is a bug as the Spiritborn is able to break animation frames during Evade immediately. We will be fixing this so you won&#8217;t be able to Evade instantly during another one, and instead it will be normalized to the standard Evade cast rate in all situations. </span></p>
<p><span class="css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3">The reason why we are hitting this bug now (and some may have noticed) is that it is currently impairing other players and their experience in-game. We have mentioned before that if a build ends up impacting the experience of others, we may make changes immediately, and this is one of those instances. We expect this change to come in 2.0.3 later this week.</span></p>

Spiritborn Fast Evade Cast Animation Hotfix/Nerf Coming


<p>The Pit has been conquered! Blizzard added another 50 tiers to the activity back on the PTR, but that hasn&#8217;t stopped players from  pushing through it incredibly quickly. Vessel of Hatred has been out for less than a week and we already have the Pit fully cleared! A Chinese player with a crazy new Spiritborn build took down the final hurdle. There were plenty of bugs along the way, however, from a 10% HP boss, affix-less elites and more. So let&#8217;s dive in! </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Resolve Stacking and Some Insane Stats</h2>



<p>Before we get into the details (or rather Rob does), here are the required stats for this 200 trillion damage build. 241 Vigor, 100% Resource Generation, 79% Attack Speed before buffs and 99% after, 123% Barrier Generation and, of course, as many Resolve stacks as you can get your hands on, which is the most difficult of the bunch. Easy, right?</p>



<p>Now, even with this just truly crazy build and a 10% HP boss, the 150 clear was still only one minute ahead of time! The tuning in those last few Pit levels is truly intense, but it has now been conquered. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Clear</h2>



<p>Rob dives into all the details and credits the Chinese players that came up with the build in the first place. There&#8217;s several strange/probably bugged interactions at play to get to these insane numbers and the clear. From Barrier stacking for <a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip" data-item-type="legendary"><img decoding="async" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img paragon" src="https://static.icy-veins.com/wp/static/d4/latest/images/icons/2DUI_ParagonNodesIcons_Spiritborn_7.webp" alt="Viscous Shield"><span class="tooltip-spell-name" data-paragon-rarity="legendary">Viscous Shield</span></span></a> to Block stacking through Resolve stacks for 10,000%+ Crit Damage, Resource Cost Reduction shenanigans and more. There&#8217;s also some bugs in the Pit 150 itself as we mentioned. Some elites didn&#8217;t have affixes and the boss had only 10% health! Basically it seems pretty clear Blizzard did not expect players to get there this quickly. And even with ALL that, it was still barely a clear with only a minute remaining. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Build</h2>



<p>The build itself, as we saw above, is pretty crazy, stacking several very probably broken and bugged interactions. Rob goes over it much better below, but here are the basics. Maximum Resolve stacks are key here, so you want any piece of gear with that affix. Two Aspects interact with this: <a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip"><img decoding="async" data-tooltip-name="Aspect of Interdiction" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img" src="https://static.icy-veins.com/wp/static/d4/latest/images/aspects/defensive.webp" alt="Aspect of Interdiction"><span class="tooltip-spell-name d4-codex-text">Aspect of Interdiction</span></span></a>, which gives you more Block chance and goes over 100%, and <a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip"><img decoding="async" data-tooltip-name="Aspect of Redirected Force" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img" src="https://static.icy-veins.com/wp/static/d4/latest/images/aspects/offensive.webp" alt="Aspect of Redirected Force"><span class="tooltip-spell-name d4-codex-text">Aspect of Redirected Force</span></span></a>, which turns that Block chance into a LOT of Crit Damage. </p>



<p>The Chinese player managed to get to 49 Resolve stacks (which requires triple Masterworking hits on all the items with the affixes with the bonus Resolve), which brings the Crit Damage to some insane numbers, possibly even over 20,000%! This is, of course, on top of 20k life, Barrier and Fortify. The Barrier also adds damage through  <a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip" data-item-type="legendary"><img decoding="async" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img paragon" src="https://static.icy-veins.com/wp/static/d4/latest/images/icons/2DUI_ParagonNodesIcons_Spiritborn_7.webp" alt="Viscous Shield"><span class="tooltip-spell-name" data-paragon-rarity="legendary">Viscous Shield</span></span></a>. Then there&#8217;s the <a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip"><img decoding="async" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img" src="https://static.icy-veins.com/wp/static/d4/latest/images/icons/2DInventory_Quarterstaff_e001_18.webp" alt="Rod of Kepeleke"><span class="tooltip-spell-name" data-item-type="Quarterstaff" data-item-quality="unique">Rod of Kepeleke</span></span></a>, which uses all that Resource Cost Reduction to get even more Crit Damage, which is how that insane 20K% Crit Damage number is reached. Then, to reach that final hundreds of trillions of damage amount, we have the <a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip"><img decoding="async" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img" src="https://static.icy-veins.com/wp/static/d4/latest/images/icons/2DInventory_Amulets_41.webp" alt="Banished Lord's Talisman"><span class="tooltip-spell-name" data-item-type="Amulet" data-item-quality="unique">Banished Lord&#8217;s Talisman</span></span></a>, which makes all the attacks Overpowers due to the constant full Vigor resource bar usage from the Rod. So basically everything is an Overpower crit with incredible Crit Damage numbers. Neat.</p>



<p>The base build itself is a relatively standard <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/quill-volley-spiritborn-build/">Quill Volley</a> one, with some modifications. Now, obviously there&#8217;s a lot more to it all as you might expect. <p>The latest OP build is sweeping the community and fast becoming the new meta. Spiritborn are evading and feathering all over the place, and now they&#8217;re REALLY starting to simplify their gameplay! </p>
