Here’s a fascinating look at some Duriel boss run statistics, with a pretty huge sample size as well!
The Stats
Thegrasswasgreen meticulously documented their many, many Duriel runs, noting what loot dropped from each one! We have a look at just how many Uniques and Mythic Uniques dropped, as well as runes and each individual Mythic as well!
You can check out the full stats below, but here are the highlights from 500 runs:
- 417 basic Uniques, plus an additional 36 with two Greater Affixes and 4 with three.
- 24 Mythic Uniques none of which had more than the default single GA.
- Noc and Feo were the most common runes, with Moni and Ohm being the rarest.
The Problem
The fact that there were absolutely zero 4 Greater Affix items in 500 runs pretty much tells you what the GA situation is like. Not to mention the 24 Mythics with no additional GAs. Now, of course, RNG is gonna RNG, but this is a pretty significant sample size. A very common complaint from players this season has specifically been low Ancestral drop rates, and especially Greater Affix drop rates. We’ll see if Blizzard address any of this during the upcoming Campfire stream and mid-season patch!
