The mid-season update is getting closer and one topic is on everyone’s minds: what’s going to happen with class balance around the Spiritborn’s power?
It’s more and more looking like there won’t be any significant Spiritborn nerfs. But with the class being so much stronger than the rest, something has to be done. The question was posed by Cooper Adams on X, and Global Director of Community Adam Fletcher responded!
While we assumed there would be a campfire for the big patch, and now it’s looking like it will discuss some buffs coming to the other classes! Nothing is for certain as the tweet was pretty vague, but it seems likely. The extreme outlier build(s) for Spiritborn might get nerfed down to non-3 minute Pit 150 clear standards. However, it’s very unlikely the class as a whole grabs a giant nerf. And so the only outcome seems big buffs for the rest!
We’ll have to wait and see, but not too much longer. Season 6 has been live for almost a month, so the mid-season update should be along within the next few weeks.
