Diablo 4 Patch 2.1.3 Notes


<p>Blizzard has now officially confirmed that <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 4</a> Season 8 will not start as planned. In a recent tweet, Rod Fergusson, General Manager of Diablo, announced that the new season will take a couple of extra weeks before going live. <strong>Unfortunately, no new date was given</strong>; this suggests that Season 7 will continue beyond April 29 (its recently extended end date).</p>

<p>The wording suggests that the delay is intended to improve the season&#8217;s quality rather than being a response to unforeseen issues. The <strong>mention of an &#8220;old friend&#8221; could also hint at the return of a familiar character</strong> or feature in <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/diablo-4-latest-season/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Season</a> 8.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What This Means for Us Players</h2>



<p>With <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/diablo-4s-season-7-end-date-extended-by-two-weeks/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Season 7&#8217;s end date already extended to April 29</a>, it is not very clear if Blizzard will add more content to fill the extra gap or simply keep the current season running longer. We are also still waiting for the long-promised <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/diablo-4s-2025-content-roadmap-is-almost-here-get-ready/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 4 roadmap</a>, which could give a better idea of what is ahead for the game in 2025.</p>

Diablo 4 Season 8 Delay Confirmed – Here Is What We Know


<p>We&#8217;re getting quite a few questions answered in the video below, as the devs address some, well, burning, issues! </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Highlights</h2>



<p>The video starts off great as we get to hear about the messy <strong>buff bar</strong> and how it&#8217;s being addressed. New buffs are getting different visual and sound queues in addition to the icon and the buff bar itself is also being improved. The <strong>Armory </strong>is definitely getting updates and improvements, as the current version is just the core functionality and will be iterated on. We also get what seems like a pretty solid no on the <strong>loot filter</strong> question, at least for now. <strong>Profane Mindcages</strong> were a hit with the community, so they&#8217;re definitely looking at bringing something similar back. </p>



<p>There&#8217;s even more in the video, from class balance to barrier nerfs, Obol vendor buffs, Seasonal mechanics returning in a limited manner, and more! </p>

<p>The March of Goblins returns to Sanctuary on March 4 at 10 a.m. PST! This limited-time event will last for one week. While it&#8217;s live, there&#8217;s an increased chance to see packs of Treasure Goblins, encounter Greed Shrines, and to see increased Treasure Goblins when fighting the Avarice world boss.</p>



<p>March of the Goblins introduces the following new goblin variations that <strong>will remain in the game after the event ends</strong>:</p>

<p>From <b>March 4, 10 a.m. PST—March 11, 10 a.m. PDT</b>, a variety of Goblins are wreaking havoc across Sanctuary through every town and hovel. The Goblins have multiplied like, well, Goblins. As you progress through the Reputation track, you’ll increase your chances of cleaving them from their Treasure Bags. Hunt them across every World Tier, in the Overworld and deepest dungeons, and across both Eternal and Seasonal Realms.</p>
<p>While March of the Goblins is live, there’s an increased chance to see larger packs of Treasures Goblins, encounter Greed Shrines, and to see increased Treasure Goblins when facing off against Avarice, the Gold-Cursed World Boss.</p>
<h3>Introducing New Goblin Variants</h3>
<p>From deep within the underground chasms and forgotten lairs of Sanctuary’s underbelly, Goblins have been mutating and diversifying. The townsfolk talk of strange and wonderful creatures, complete with sacks filled to abundance. These new Goblin variants seem to be more rare than their brown bagged counterpart, so keep a keen eye for a glint of them scurrying through the underbrush.</p>

March of Goblins Hits Sanctuary Starting March 4


<p>It looks like <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/diablo-4-latest-season/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 4 Season</a> 7 will be running a little longer than expected. Players have noticed that the original end date of April 15 has been <strong>pushed back to April 29</strong>, adding two extra weeks to the current timeline. </p>

<p>In Sanctuary, the excitement of slaying demons and completing challenging dungeons is best experienced with a group of fellow adventurers. But what to do when your friends take a break or move on to other games? It is for reasons like this one, that Blizzard has introduced the Party Finder. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is the Party Finder?</h2>



<p>The Party Finder is a matchmaking feature that helps players connect with others for specific in-game activities. Accessible via <strong>Shift+P</strong> on PC or through the <strong>Social Menu</strong> on consoles, it allows you to either list your own party or join existing ones. You can specify exactly what you are looking for, be it Torment 4 <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/how-to-farm-uniques-from-bosses/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">boss runs</a>, quest exploration, material farming, or a full clear of the Dark Citadel. This makes it a useful tool for players at any stage of the game.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to Use the Party Finder</h2>

<li><strong>Use Advanced Search Options</strong>: Filter groups by activity type, difficulty, or labels to find a perfect match for your playstyle.</li>

Unlocked via completing the Crater of Lost Souls quest in Kurast City (<a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/vessel-of-hatred-overview/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vessel of Hatred</a>) on <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/world-tier-difficulty/#torment_difficulties" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Torment difficulty</a>, this dungeon is a test of teamwork and strategy. With its synchronized mechanics and tough bosses, the Dark Citadel rewards player groups with weekly caches containing valuable loot, cosmetics, and Scrolls of Retempering to reset your gear&#8217;s Tempering. </p>



<p>In Torment IV, you can also earn unique costmetics. As a solo player you might find it difficult, but with the Party Finder, you can quickly form a group, already experienced or happy to take things slow. Never played the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/dark-citadel-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dark Citadel</a> before? Many players are happy to guide newcomers, just let them know your experience level upfront. The Diablo 4 community often welcomes those eager to learn!</p>

<p>If your stash and inventory are overflowing with runes, it is time to use them! There are two main crafting options available that can help you manage your rune collection.</p>
