<p>Blizzard has unveiled an informative infographic for the upcoming Season 7, launching January 21. This visual guide provides a detailed overview of the new features and updates players can look forward to.</p>

<p>The infographic provides more details about <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/witchcraft-guide/">Witchcraft powers</a> and <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/occult-gems-guide/">Occult gems</a> available to players in Season 7. To access both players must complete <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/headhunts-guide/">Headhunts</a> and defeat the Headrotten. </p>



<p>We also learn more about updates to Eternal realms, including the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/armory-guide/">Armory</a> that allows fast build swapping, quality-of-life updates, new Unique items, Legendary affixes, and runes.</p>

Season 7 Infographic: Everything You Need to Know


<p>We had a whole lot of information arrive yesterday with <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/season-7-guide/">the Season 7 overview</a>. One of the big sections of the post focused on item tuning changes between the Public test Realm and the release version. So let&#8217;s take a look at the new items in case you missed them, and the changes (mostly buffs) they have received since the last time we took a look at them! </p>



<p>Barbarians got their hammer+earthquake chest piece inherent buff doubled. Druids didn&#8217;t quite get their new Unique doubled, but it still got a hefty bump. Only one of the Necromancer Unique pants got buffed. However, their Bone Spear + Bone Prison Aspect got upgraded from auto-crit to auto-overpower! Rogues got their Shadow Imbuement Aspect bumped up, but not by much. They also get some extra skill points on the new Unique bots. Sorcerers got a 25% upgrade and an extra skill point on one of the Ball Lightning Uniques. None of the new Spritborn items have gotten any buffs since the PTR. It&#8217;s almost as if the class has been insanely overpowered for a while! </p>

<p>Ok, wait, it&#8217;s a weird title but it makes sense, honest! We have a player who received their very first Mythic Unique and it was immediately an incredibly rare 4 Greater Affix one! Except, it wasn&#8217;t a particularly good one. </p>



<p><a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/darkjackman165/">Darkjackman165</a> showed off their paradoxical luck as they got a 4 GA <a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip"><img decoding="async" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img" src="https://static.icy-veins.com/wp/static/d4/latest/images/icons/2DInventory_Amulets_48.webp" alt="Melted Heart of Selig"><span class="tooltip-spell-name" data-item-type="Amulet" data-item-quality="mythic">Melted Heart of Selig</span></span></a> as heir very first Mythic Unique drop. It&#8217;s unclear whether that&#8217;s referring to the season or ever in the game, but it&#8217;s impressive nonetheless. </p>

<p>Unfortunately, Selig&#8217;s ticker isn&#8217;t the best when it comes to Mythics, and despite the four affixes of a greater nature, it&#8217;s still pretty bad. And the community sure let <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/darkjackman165/">darkjackman165</a> know it too! </p>

<p>It is a bit of a shame that at least the maximum Greater Affix-infused Mythics don&#8217;t salvage into something more than the same one Resplendent Spark as any other. Hopefully Blizzard considers changing this, and then a 4GA would be amazing even if it&#8217;s not usable! </p>

<p>Nominated in the &#8220;Online Game of the Year&#8221; category, Diablo 4 is up against Helldivers 2, Space Marine 2, Marvel Rivals, and Black Ops 6. The nominees and winners are chosen by industry professionals, as developers from different studios get invited to pick each year. </p>

The winners will be revealed at the 28th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards ceremony, the culmination of the week-long industry gathering at the 2025 D.I.C.E. Summit (<strong>#DICE2025</strong>). Additionally, <strong>1000xRESIST</strong>, <strong>ANIMAL WELL</strong>, and <strong>Batman: Arkham Shadow</strong> secured four nominations each.&nbsp;<br><br>Competing for 2024’s top honor, Game of the Year, are: <strong>Astro Bot</strong>, <strong>Balatro</strong>, <strong>Black Myth: Wukong</strong>, <strong>Helldivers 2</strong>, and <strong>Indiana Jones and the Great Circle</strong>.&nbsp;</p>

Diablo 4 Nominated for Best Online Game of the Year at DICE Awards


<p>Here&#8217;s a bit of a claustrophobic one, as a player got stuck in a very small portion of the map! Luckily they could still portal out, but it&#8217;s quite the weird one nonetheless! </p>



<p><a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/Photoro/">Photoro</a> found themselves trapped by vines at the entrance to the expansion zone, unable to run out. That particular zone actually opens up in the Vessel of Hatred campaign, but Photoro isn&#8217;t on that part of the quest yet, so they got very much stuck. Well, at least physically, as they could still just port out and head back to town. It&#8217;s still a very weird one, being able to enter an un-exitable part of them map, even if you don&#8217;t own the expansion. </p>

<p>Blizzard has announced the next Campfire stream for Diablo 4’s upcoming Season 7!</p>

Next Season 7 Developer Campfire Stream Coming on January 16th


<p>Reddit user <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/AltumFelis/">AltumFelis</a> shared a noteworthy D4 experience involving an extremely rare Mythic Unique drop. The event unfolded after a significant in-game trade and a decision to include the trading partner in a boss farming session.</p>



<p>The trade itself was a tough negotiation. AltumFelis managed to acquire 3 EOM runes in exchange for 600 million gold and a dozen legendary runes. Feeling the deal may have been too one-sided, they decided to invite their trading partner to a Duriel farming run, a known source of best-quality loot.</p>



<p>The run proved lucrative for both players, as both received a Mythic Unique. AltumFelis&#8217; Mythic Unique, however, was a <span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip"><a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><img decoding="async" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img" src="https://static.icy-veins.com/wp/static/d4/latest/images/icons/2DInventory_Rings_41.webp" alt="Ring of Starless Skies"><span class="tooltip-spell-name" data-item-type="Ring" data-item-quality="mythic">Ring of Starless Skies</span></a></span> with 4 Greater Affixes!</p>

<p>Diablo 4 has been evolving even since its release, getting better and better. A lot of that improvement has to do with the community asking for various features and Blizzard actually adding those into the game. Well, today we have another really good one to take a look at ! </p>

<p>Running the Pit over and over and over again because it&#8217;s the only really good source of experience isn&#8217;t great. But it&#8217;s what you have to do if you want to ever get anywhere close to max Paragon. There&#8217;s many ways to remedy this, but <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/SneakyStabbalot/">SneakyStabbalot</a> has a particularly good idea. </p>

<p>Pretty self-explanatory there. This would be a great idea, as it would offer even more choices for the Hordes rewards and offer a potential alternative to infinite Pit farming. However, Infernal Compasses are still not something you can permanently run as you need the drops, but it&#8217;s something at least! </p>


Great Community Idea: XP Chest at End of Infernal Hordes


<p>It seems Diablo 4 still has that infinite wave mode! Well, infinite wave bug, anyway. </p>



<p>A while ago we covered the bug, as the Hatred&#8217;s Hoard event in the Seething Realm of the Realmwalker is intended to have a 4-chest reward maximum. However, if you slay enough enemies quickly. Unfortunately, it seems if you exceed that 4 chest limit, you are doomed to farm more forever! Well. or leave. </p>

<p>Now it&#8217;s obvious why the bug hasn&#8217;t been fixed. This is Seething Realm-specific and that&#8217;s not coming back next season. And, considering the &#8220;popularity&#8221; of the whole Realmwalker theme, possibly ever. So if you want infinite monsters to kill, try to proc the Seething Realm event and go for it! </p>
