In the meantime, players have found out that you can also get random purples from the “wrong” slot! Here’s the feature in action, as the vendor rolls that super rare chance at getting that Mythic Unique, but since no Mythic boots exist, it instead generates a random one that does. In this case it’s pretty much the best case scenario, a 
Harlequin Crest!
A pretty well spent 90 Obols, right?
And in case you were wondering whether it was a random bug with boots in particular: nope!
So, no matter what you buy from the Obol vendor, if your lucky ticket is punched, you WILL get a Mythic Unique regardless of the slot you gambled.
