Players are getting pretty annoyed at not being able to find Lost Witchcraft powers even this early in the season, so let’s take a look at one method that might help with that. We’ve already covered how to maximize your chances of finding the Forgotten Altars the regular way. Now it’s time to see a potential specific farming path.
Just Reset
xxDoMeRaSxx detailed a way that might be the fastest but also could be the same as a regular dungeon run. It’s pretty simple as you just run the first floor of a dungeon (Hoarfrost Demise or just the shortest one you can find), reset it, and run it again!
Responses from players vary a lot. Some found an altar every 15 or so minutes, while others didn’t find any in over an hour. That’s pretty much par for the course when it comes to RNG, but it is possible this is the fastest way to directly farm the Lost powers. The alternative is just running the Pit, since you’ll need to do that for glyphs, XP, and obols anyway.
Don’t Forget the Elixir and Some Friends!
Of course this isn’t really worth doing at all if you don’t have a 
Draught of Whispers, doubling your chance of finding an altar. This may be why some players take hours to find one. Also, when you do find an altar, you can then invite other players to your dungeon, and they’ll be able to use it as well!
So don’t be stingy and just invite everyone over for a Lost power party!
