<p>Diablo 4&#8217;s first try at a leaderboard system seems to have failed. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Gauntlet So Far</h2>



<p>The Gauntlet was introduced in Season 3. It was temporarily disabled a few times after that due to various exploits and bug issues with the maps. It was not brought back when the expansion launched, with the reasoning that the meta needed to settle down around the new class and expansion features. However, it was not brought back since then, meaning it missed the entirety of Season 6.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Future of the Gauntlet</h2>



<p>The feature also is not returning for Season 7. It also seems it may be entirely scrapped from the game as well. Global Director of Community Adam Fletcher said that it was &#8220;probably&#8221; not returning, only 5 days ahead of the season launch:</p>

<p>It&#8217;s slightly unclear whether he is referring to the Gauntlet probably not returning ever or in Season 7. However, it&#8217;s likely that he meant it will be replaced by a different leaderboard system in the future and will not be returning at all. </p>

The Gauntlet Is Not Returning to Diablo 4 in Season 7, Possibly Ever


<p>As with all other classes, Rogues are getting quite the number of changes and new toys to play with in Season 7. </p>



<p>Twisting Blades is getting a buff as its damage bonus now stacks and lasts longer. Shadow Clone is will now trigger more effects and gets a new bonus at rank 5. Caltrops becomes more boring but also much easier to use, as it no longer makes the Rogue leap back and can be cast anywhere. Shadow Imbuement also got some buffs, to the core and to its upgrades. </p>

<p>Here come the many changes coming to Druids in this Tuesday&#8217;s Season 7. </p>



<p>We have big buffs to Shred and Blood Howl, new rank 5 abilities for all the Ultimates, as well as new scaling bonuses from skill ranks for some skill upgrades. Spirit Boons got a bit of a rework too, with some just being buffed, while others completely changed functionality. There&#8217;s also changes to passives, Uniques, Aspects, Paragon nodes, and more, so let&#8217;s dive in. </p>

Shred and Howl: All Druid Season 7 Class Changes


<p>During Season 6, many players reported getting Mythic Uniques from Obol gambling. There were even those who <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/shako-from-a-glove-gamble-you-can-get-random-mythic-uniques-from-different-gear-slots-at-obol-vendor/">received Shakos from the wrong slot</a>! We also noticed <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/obol-vendor-now-dropping-more-unique-items-heres-what-you-need-to-know/">regular Uniques being much more frequent after Vessel of Hatred&#8217;s release</a>. Well, it seems the Purveyors of Curiosities AKA the Obol vendors have been far too generous since the expansion!</p>



<p>Among the many changes and bug fixes announced in the Season of Witchcraft patch notes, it seems Unique and Mythic Unique were being awarded from Obols much more frequently than intended due to a bug. Blizzard did not clarify just how much &#8220;more frequently&#8221; these items appeared, but it&#8217;s likely a significant amount. Season 7 will fix this issue, so keep that in mind when gambling. Perhaps focus on Aspects instead, using the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/get-the-right-legendary-aspect-more-easily-extremely-useful-obol-gambling-tool/">very useful Obol tool we previously covered</a>. </p>

Hammer Quake and Whirlwind: All Barbarian Changes in Diablo 4 Season 7


<p>One of the big announcements of today&#8217;s Season 7 Campfire Chat focused on Paragon experience and the Eternal Realm. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">That Level 300 Is Looking Possible</h2>



<p>Starting with Season 7, all paragon experience earned in a season carries over to the Eternal Realm once that season ends. This seems to include the end of Season 6, so the current Paragon XP will also be carried over. Since Paragon experience is now account-wide (but still separate for Hardcore and Softcore), that means that all experience gather by all your characters, no matter the realm, will be added up on Eternal once the season ends. </p>



<p>This makes that maximum level 300 Paragon seem possible, despite the crazy amounts needed to get there. After all, Paragon <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/level-284-is-the-midpoint-diablo-4-paragon-experience-required-chart/">level 284 is the mid-point in XP between 1 and 300</a>! </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Get That Mount and Trophy! </h2>

<li>Too much incidental Crowd Control can make combat less engaging. They do not have any changes for that in Season 7 but will look into improving this in the future.</li>

<li><strong>Unique Power Roll Updates</strong> &#8211; Power roll floor increased per Greater Affix. The more GA it has, the higher the roll will be.</li>



<li><strong>Ancestral Items </strong>&#8211; Gravitate toward the top end of Aspect rolls. Baseline drop rate increased. </li>



<li><strong>Gem Fragment Conversion</strong> &#8211; Use gem fragments to craft jewelry.</li>
