<p>Patch 2.0.1 has been available since October 1st, but now we have the followup ready as well. 2.0.2 brings the final touches to the update and will be what the expansion launches with. The pre-load is only available for PC players on Battle.net, and will arrive for consoles a little later. </p>

Vessel of Hatred Day 1 Patch (2.0.2) Pre-Download Available Now


<p>Vessel of Hatred&#8217;s launch season, which you do not have to own the expansion to play, brings some incredibly useful, gatherable and selectable buffs! Seething Opals are a key consumable that allow you to use one whenever you like, and keep many different ones in your inventory! </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Do Seething Opals Do?</h2>



<p>A Seething Opal is an elixir which grants various buffs, which you can actually select yourself! From the base 15% additional experience buff that they all have, there are many other options as well. From gold to reputation, additional currency/crafting items of various kinds, there&#8217;s even one that buffs loot drops! </p>

<p>There are five different types of Opal, as you can see above. The Opal of Socketables is a special one. It can only be acquired if you own the Vessel of Hatred expansion, and only from Seething Realms within the expansion&#8217;s new zone Nahantu. It&#8217;s a very powerful one, however, as it not only enhances gem drops, but also Runes! </p>

<p>But the absolute best part of these elixirs is that you can get many of them and save them up to use consecutively! So you can farm a whole lot of them, save them up and then chain them together for use on the weekend or similar. They are always awarded in pairs as well, so you can pop one immediately and save the other for later! </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How Can I Get Seething Opals?</h2>



<p>Seething Opals are always awarded at the end of Seething Realm dungeons. These are part of the new seasonal activity, and a portal to them opens once you defeat a Realmwalker. Realmwalkers appear on the world map during Season 6, spawning every 15 minutes in the original zones, and every hour in the expansion zone. </p>

<p>To select an opal as a reward from Seething Realms, you&#8217;ll need some Obols and other materials, however. Here is a full list:</p>

<p>These have received some changes since we first saw them on the 2.0 PTR, all of which were revealed today. So, let&#8217;s take a look at all the new toys we get to play with! You may have 6 Familiars active at a time.</p>

<li><b>Enhanced Familiar:</b> Familiars apply effects around them every 0.5s based on their element. Fire Familiar: Applies 40 <s>94</s>% Burning damage to enemies. Cold Familiar: Applies 15% Chill to enemies. Lightning Familiar: Stuns enemies for 1 second.</li>

Major Barbarian Changes in Diablo 4 Patch 2.0.1 and 2.0.2


<p>Blizzard confirmed <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/gauntlet-guide/">The Gauntlet</a> won&#8217;t be returning in Season 6.</p>



<p>During the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/vessel-of-hatred-pre-launch-developer-update-everything-you-need-to-know/">Vessel of Hatred pre-launch livestream</a>, Blizzard confirmed The Gauntlet would not return in the new expansion. With it, Leaderboards will be gone too. The developers specifically mentioned they will look into implementing Leaderboards in the game when it makes sense.</p>

<p>The Dark Citadel raid is Diablo 4&#8217;s first cooperative dungeon, where you have to go in with at least one other player. Amonth the many rewards it offers, from ancestral Uniques to special scrolls, there is one tier of reward that stands out. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Hardest Content Has the Coolest Rewards</h2>



<p>If you manage to brave all three dungeons that comprise the Dark Citadel on the game&#8217;s hardest difficulty, you will be rewarded by some awesome cosmetics. First off we have special cosmetics for each class! </p>
