AAC Light-heavyweight Raid Guides for FFXIV

AAC Light-heavyweight is the first raid tier of the Arcadion, the high-end raid series of Dawntrail.

To unlock AAC Light-heavyweight, players must complete the quest "The Claw in the Dark." Players must first complete the quest "A New Challenger Appears" from the Stylish Stranger at Solution Nine (x19.1, y18.8). Additionally, players must have completed the 7.0 Dawntrail main scenario.

The raid's Normal difficulty was released with Patch 7.01 on July 16, 2024. The Savage difficulty will be unlocked two weeks later with Patch 7.05 on July 30, 2024.

Here at the Arcadion, you'll find a grand spectacle unlike any other. The realm's greatest fighters pit fist against fist and magick against magick, putting their lives on the line as crowds howl and clamor, each clash more visceral than the last. Step into the arena if you dare, and either rise to become champion, or fall forever in ignominy.

Treasure coffers in the Normal difficulty of the raid do not yield gear but instead reward tokens that can be traded in for gear of your choosing. The systems of raid loot for both Normal and Savage difficulties are explained in our guide linked below.

Aside from gear upgrades, players who complete the Savage version of this raid tier will have the opportunity to roll on a special mount!

Here are the item levels of gear received in the Light-heavyweight raid. Note that the weapon received from the last floor of Light-heavyweight is five item levels higher than the gear.

• Normal Difficulty: Item Level 710;
• Savage Difficulty: Item Level 730;

The items obtained from treasure coffers can be exchanged for gear by speaking with Hhihwi in Solution Nine (x8.7, y13.4).

Upon completing AAC Light-heavyweight M4, players will earn a Lightheavy Holoblade. This reward can only be received once per weekly lockout. The drop can be exchanged with the item exchange vendors for Universal Tomestones, which are used to purchase weapons along with Allagan Tomestones of Heliometry. These are set to be added with the release of the Savage difficulty of the raid.
