Welcome to our guide to Alexandria, the sixth and final dungeon of Dawntrail's MSQ. This guide aims to prepare players for the dungeon so they will know what to expect, with simple mechanic instructions and notes on what to watch out for.

1.

Introduction

Dungeon 6 Banner FFXIV

In their darkest hour, the people of Alexandria had found comfort in the belief that physical death is not the end, and through the miracle of electrope, that belief was made reality. Yet everything comes at a price. Determined to sustain the Endless no matter the cost, Sphene has chosen the unconscionable course of massacring innocents. Seeking to prevent her from preying upon other reflections, you and your comrades prepare to send your souls into the Meso Terminal, where a virtual domain generated by her memories awaits.

1.1.

Unlocking Alexandria

Alexandria can be unlocked at Level 100 during the main scenario quest "Dawntrail." It is the sixth and final dungeon players will encounter in Dawntrail's MSQ. Players above Level 100 will be level synced to Level 100 when entering.

2.1.

First Boss Trash Mobs

There are multiple roadblocks throughout the dungeon preventing large pulls. The Protocol B4 (hound) mobs do Deadly Bite on the tank which deals heavy physical damage, so make sure mitigation is up for those.

2.2.

Antivirus X

  • Immune Response: Does a conal AoE in front of the boss, or cleaves the sides.
  • Foreign Entity Removal: Summons Interferons around the boss, which spawn as a plus or circle shape. They do an AoE in the order they spawned with plus adds doing a plus-shaped AoE and circle adds doing a donut AoE.
  • Quarantine: An AoE magical tank buster on the tank and a stack marker for the rest of the party.
2.3.

Second Boss Trash Mobs

Be careful of Laserblade, a huge 270 degree AoE from the B8. Stun or move behind it. They also do a heavy magical hit, Thunder Beam, on the tank. There are more roadblocks in this area that prevent large pulls.

2.4.

Amalgam

  • Electrowave: Party-wide magic damage.
  • Disassembly: Deals party-wide magic damage. The Amalgam disassembles and creates lightning lines on the arena that cleave half the arena diagonally.
  • Centralized Current: A line AoE in the boss's hitbox.
  • Split Current: Cleaves the sides of the boss.
  • Disassembly 2: From the second cast onwards, there will be marked AoEs on all players and lightning portals that do a line AoE. Dodge the lightning ground AoEs first, then spread to avoid clipping the marked AoEs.
  • Amalgamight: Physical tank buster.
  • Superbolt: A stack marker.
  • Ternary Charge: Ring AoEs that expand from the boss.
2.5.

Final Boss Trash Mobs

These mobs hit harder with their auto-attacks compared to previous trash packs. Otherwise, they don't have any extra tank damage so they do relatively the same amount of damage.

2.6.

Eliminator

  • Disruption: Party-wide magic damage.
  • Partition: Cleaves the half of the arena the Eliminator's sword is on.
  • Reconfigured Partition: The Eliminator switches which side its sword is on and does Partition.
  • Subroutine: The Eliminator's hand moves to do a line AoE or a donut AoE centered on a random player.
  • Overexposure: A line stack marker.
  • Final Attack Sequence: The Eliminator becomes untargetable and invulnerable. It summons six Lightning Generator adds that give the boss Charge. Kill the adds before the charge bar is filled.
  • Holo Ark: Eliminator's ultimate, cast after the Final Attack Sequence. This will wipe the party if the Charge bar reaches 100.
  • Subroutine 2: After the Final Attack Sequence, this can be a knockback with line AoEs on all players.
  • Elimination: Heavy magic damage with lines on the arena. These lines will explode shortly.
3.

Loot

Alexandria drops item level 690 Epochal accessories. Full loot tables will be updated when available if you wish to target a specific piece!
