Futures Rewritten (FRU) Full Guide for FFXIV

Futures Rewritten (Ultimate), commonly abbreviated as FRU, is a high-end duty released on the 26th of November, 2024 with Patch 7.11. It can be unlocked by speaking with the Wandering Minstrel in Tuliyollal at (X:11.1,Y:14.6), after completing the fourth floor of the AAC Light-Heavyweight Savage raid series. This fight must be tackled with a full party of eight players, and the damage taken and dps checks are tuned for that party to be fully equiped with i730 gear. Being undergearred will be a significant disadvantage, so we strongly recommend grabbing a full set of Best-In-Slot gear, which you can find on any of the job pages on this website.

Completing Futures Rewritten (Ultimate) rewards the player with the title "Genesis of Legends," and an Oracle Totem which can be exchanged for an Ultimate Edenmorn weapon at Uah'shepya in Solution Nine (X:8.6,Y:13.5).

As FRU was only released recently, strategies for tackling each phase are still being standardized, and early strategies may be replaced or modified.
