Heaven on High Guide for Floors 81-90

On floors 81-90, the Accursed Horde will take the form of a Platinum-haloed Sack Icon Platinum-haloed Sack, and Mimics can spawn from Gold Coffers. You can expect 4-10 kills to be required to proceed between floors, 4-6 Treasure Coffers per floor, 5-8 rooms per floor and 2-3 enemies per room outside of Treasure Rooms, which will have significantly more Coffers and enemies.

Floors 81-89

HoH Floorset 9 Banner

As the sixth floorset of the challenge floors, enemies start to become lethally dangerous even without pulling more than one at a time. Always be aware of patrolling mobs while in combat with other enemies, and have contingency plans at all times for if something goes wrong. Conserve your resources as best you can, but do not be afraid to use what you have in order to save a run.

Pomanders of Raising no longer drop from floor 81 onwards, so assuming you are entering this floorset with 3 in your inventory, pop one of them immediately. If at any point on your journey so far you've found an Elder Magicite from a Silver Coffer, do your best to save it for the boss on Floor 90, as it is the most mechanically intense encounter in the entire tower.

Floor 90 Boss - Onra

The ninth boss of Heaven on High, and the sixth of the challenge floorsets. By far the hardest boss in Heaven on High, this boss requires near constant movement and proper positioning of both the boss and yourself in order to safely dodge telegraphed AoEs while taking minimal damage from proximity AoEs and avoiding debuffs from other sources. If you obtained an Elder Magicite at any point during your climb to floor 90, this is the place to use it.

Boss Rotation Quick-Guide:
  1. Burning Rave
  2. Knuckle Press
  3. Aura Cannon
  4. Repeat until 85%
  5. Ancient Quaga
  6. Summon Orbs
  7. Meteor Impact
  8. Aura Cannon
  9. Burning Rave
  10. Knuckle Press
  11. Repeat from Ancient Quaga

The arena is a circle, with the boss starting at the far side. The boss will begin the encounter with three attacks: Burning Rave, a telegraphed circle AoE, Knuckle Press, a telegraphed point-blank AoE, and Aura Cannon, a telegraphed line AoE. These will repeat in sequence until the boss reaches 85% HP, giving you time to get used to the amount of damage dealt by auto-attacks.

Once the boss reaches 85%, he will move on to his second phase. This begins with Ancient Quaga, a raidwide that will always do 50% of a player's maximum HP. Empyrean Potion Icon Empyrean Potions or other sources of healing are a must here. Shortly after this, multiple orbs of earth will spawn around the arena and start doing multiple instant untelegraphed point-blank AoEs around themselves. Getting hit by one of these orb AoEs will inflict both knockback, and the Heavy debuff for 30s, making it significantly harder to dodge telegraphed AoEs from the boss. Avoid getting hit by these at all costs.

Immediately after the orbs spawn, the boss will cast Meteor Impact. This attack places a proximity AoE marker on the location the boss is currently standing at. The boss will then cast another Aura Cannon and Burning Rave, with the proximity damage occuring just before the castbar for Burning Rave appears. Ensure you are at least halfway across the arena from the marker when it resolves. The earth orbs around the arena will also start disappearing after the Aura Cannon cast, and by the time Burning Rave has resolved, they should all be gone. The boss will then do one last Knuckle Press.

After this point, the boss will begin to loop mechanics. Make sure to use the time between the damage from each Meteor Impact and the next cast of Ancient Quaga to heal yourself up enough to survive the next hit.

On a DPS, you can expect a kill time of about nine minutes, or faster with the aid of a Pomander of Strength. On a tank or healer, you can expect a kill time of about thirteen minutes under the same conditions. Given the liklihood of this floorset taking significantly longer than previous ones due to the difficulty spike of the enemies on each floor as well as the boss, you may wish to use more than one Strength for this boss if you don't have an Elder Magicite.
