Ihuykatumu Dungeon Guide and Loot List
Welcome to our guide to Ihuykatumu, the first dungeon of Dawntrail. This guide aims to prepare players for the dungeon so they will know what to expect, with simple mechanic instructions and notes on what to watch out for.
Introduction
With two keystones now won and her father's historic journey pointing the way, Wuk Lamat sets her sights on the Moblin settlement perched above the waterfalls of Kozama'uka. As misfortune would have it, the wild storm which passed through the region has collapsed the great stairs leading up the cliffs, leading the resourceful Erenville to arrange an alternative route: a barge-like vessel pulled upriver by a massive-yet-gentle punutiy. Brace yourself to fight not only the current but an abundance of fierce wildlife as you forge along Yok Tural's mighty Ihuykatumu!
Unlocking Ihuykatumu
Ihuykatumu can be unlocked at Level 91 during the main scenario quest "For All Turali". It is the first dungeon players will encounter in Dawntrail and is located in Kozama'uka. Players above Level 92 will be level synced to Level 92 when entering.

First Boss Trash Mobs
Players will traverse along the river, defeating mobs that appear at the front of the boat. New packs of mobs will not spawn until the previous pack has been killed. Once the raft stops, players can leave down the path to the first boss.
Prime Punutiy
- Punutiy Press: Raidwide magical damage.
- Hydrowave: A conal AoE on a random player.
- Resurface: The Punutiy moves to the edge of the arena and sucks continuously in a conal AoE. The objects are then spat out, creating many line, circle, and cone AoEs on the arena which inflict a vulnerability debuff. This sequence ends with a donut AoE.
- Song of the Punutiy: Summons untargetable Punutiy adds that tether onto non-tanks, giving them a large marked circle AoE. The tank gets a conal AoE tether from the main boss. After these AoEs go off, the Punutiy adds become targetable.
- Shore Shaker: Ring AoEs that expand from the boss.
Second Boss Trash Mobs
Watch out for the Treant's ground AoE, Arboreal Storm. The Widowmaker does an untelegraphed hit on the tank, Gnaw, that does heavy damage. After killing the first two trash packs, climb the ladder to the next two packs. Again, watch out for the Mimiclot's ground AoE Flagrant Spread and make sure to mitigate and/or heal the double Widowmaker pack.
Drowsie
- Uppercut: A physical tank buster.
- Sow: The Drowsie sows seeds on the arena.
- Drowsy Dance: The sown seeds erupt into vines with a large AoE. These have a directional indicator and will do a line AoE, Wallop, in the direction indicated. The Drowsie's dancing will continue to increase their size, making the line AoE larger and increasing damage.
- Sneeze: A wide conal AoE.
- Spit: Summons many Mimiclot adds that need to be tanked and killed. Random players are marked with Flagrant Spread, a marked circle AoE.
Final Boss Trash Mobs
The Maip and Puma both have frontal conal AoEs. Other mobs are not threatening except for auto-attack damage.
Apollyon
- Razor Zephyr: A line AoE towards a random player.
- Blade: A physical tank buster. After feasting on the sandworms, this becomes an AoE that inflicts a wind DoT and leaves behind a donut AoE.
- High Wind: Raidwide magic damage. The Apollyon feasts on the adds that spawn, enhancing its abilities.
- Swarming Locust: The Apollyon jumps to the edge of the arena thrice.
- Blades of Famine: Large line AoEs from the edge of the arena where the boss jumped to.
- Levinsickle: AoEs on the ground that create lightning pools. These pools do two sets of conal AoEs.
- Thunder III: Marked AoEs on all players.
- Razor Storm: The Apollyon jumps to the edge and does a large frontal AoE from the edge.
- Windwhistle: Summons a tornado that travels across the arena. This tornado will shoot line AoEs intermittently, and standing inside it will knock players back and inflict a vulnerability stack.
Loot
Ihuykatumu will drop item level 650 Riversbreath gear. Full loot tables will be updated when available if you wish to target a specific piece!
