Earning Reputation with the Ixali Beast Tribe in FFXIV

The Ixali tribe is located in North Shroud, where Sezul Totoloc and his band of flight-seekers require the help of an adventurer with mastery over the crafting and gathering disciplines. To learn about what tribes are and what their quests are about, visit our tribes hub.

The Ixali tribe are one of the tribes of A Realm Reborn. They are focused on Disciples of Hand and Land. Their currency is the Ixali Oaknot, and these can be traded in for rewards. There are four other tribes in ARR, and you can learn about them by visiting the ARR tribe hub.

In order to unlock Ixali daily quests, players must have completed the level 41 main scenario quest In Pursuit of the Past. Afterwards, they can take the quest A Bad Bladder from Scarlet in New Gridania (x9.9, y11.4).

The Ixali starts off at Neutral rank and maxes out at Sworn rank. However, once you complete the Allied Beast Tribe quests, they will automatically be upgraded to Allied along with all other ARR beast tribes.

The Ixali are focused on crafting and gathering. In order to craft the items needed to complete quests, players must use special crafting facilities as well as equip an item given to them, the Ehcatl Wristgloves. Players are given a time limit as well as a limiter (usually a CP decrease) to test their crafting skill. Materials are automatically given to the player, and can be replenished by talking to the workshop supervisor.

After completing the first two quests in the main quests, players unlock daily quests. Upon reaching max reputation for the rank, a new main story quest becomes unlocked which ranks up the player. Doing so will unlock new daily quests.

These are unlocked upon reaching the sufficient rank.

The Ixali have a special quest called Deliverance. Players are rewarded with quota points as well as experience for every item delivered to the Ixali. The quota and items can change based on rank. Players can view current delivery items in the Timers menu. Completing Deliverance counts towards the 12 total beast tribe quests that is able to be completed per day, but does not count towards the three Ixali quests.

While ranking up unlocks new daily quests, only three quests are offered each day.

Neutral quests are offered by Yazel Ahuatan the Able, and reward 20 reputation each. Players cap reputation in 3 days of 3 daily quests. These quests also offer 10 elemental shards as a reward.

Recognized quests are offered by Methuli Cattlan the Hard, and reward 24 reputation each. Players will cap reputation in 5 days of 3 daily quests. These quests also offer 15 elemental shards as a reward.

Friendly quests are offered by Rozol Cattlan the Prudent, and reward 29 reputation each. Players will cap reputation in 6 days of 3 daily quests. These quests also offer 20 elemental shards as a reward.

Trusted quests are offered by Jezul Ahuatan the Second, and reward 35 reputation each. Players will cap reputation in 7 days of 3 daily quests. These quests also offer 25 elemental shards as a reward.

Respected quests are offered by Duzal Meyean the Steady, and reward 42 reputation each. Players will cap reputation in 8 days of 3 daily quests.

Honored quests are offered by Jezul Ahuatan the Second, and reward 50 reputation each. Players will cap reputation in 9 days of 3 daily quests. These quests also offer 3 crafting and gathering Grade IV materia as a reward.

Players can exchange their Ixali Oaknot with the Ixali Vendor. In addition, players can purchase items with gil. More items will be unlocked after increasing your reputation. The vendor also sells assorted crafting materials for gil.
