Earning Reputation with the Kojin Beast Tribe in FFXIV
This page contains information about the Kojin Tribal Quests. Here, players will find out how to unlock the tribe, the daily quests they offer, and the rewards they can get from these quests.
Kojin Tribal Quests
The Kojin tribe in The Ruby Sea is located at Tamamizu, where the Kojin seek to expand their collection of treasures they believe serve as vessels for the divine. The Blue Kojin, instead of choosing violence, are doing this through peaceful means. To learn about what tribes are and what their quests are about, visit our tribes hub.
Overview
The Kojin tribe is one of the tribes of Stormblood. They are focused on Disciples of War and Magic. Their currency is the Kojin Sango and these can be traded in for rewards. There are two other tribes in Stormblood, and you can learn about them by visiting the SB tribe hub.
How to Unlock Kojin Quests
In order to unlock Kojin daily quests, players must have completed the level 63 main scenario quest Tide Goes in, Imperials Go Out. They can then take the quest Heaven-sent from Vexed Villager in The Ruby Sea (x6.8, y13.3).
Reputation
The Kojin starts off at Friendly rank and maxes out at Bloodsworn rank. Once you complete the Stormblood Allied Beast Tribe quests, they will automatically be upgraded to Allied along with all other SB beast tribes.
Kojin Quests
After completing the first main quest, players unlock daily quests. Upon reaching max reputation for the rank, a new main story quest becomes unlocked which ranks up the player. Doing so will unlock new daily quests. Kojin quests employ a system called quest sync, which matches the difficulty of quests to the player's current level. Players must complete the quest on the job they accept the quest on.
