General Mechanics of Ktisis Hyperboreia
- Lyssa
- This boss will use Frostbite and Seek, causing it to disappear into the snow. Footprints will appear and indicate where the boss will reappear and do an AoE towards the center of the arena.
- Dodge the icicles from Icicall, and then dodge the line AoEs.
- Ladon Lord
- This boss will use Inhale, causing its head to glow with fire. Pyric Breath will shoot a conal AoE depending on which head is on fire.
- The middle will shoot forwards, the left will shoot back left, and the right will shoot back right.
- Dodge AoEs and then dodge the breaths.
- Hermes
- He will use Hermetica and summon brands on the outside of the arena that shoot a line AoE across the arena.
- Players will have to line of sight these with Meteors or dodge them as they fire sequentially.
- When Hermes casts Double on a spell, it will do a second AoE right afterwards.
3.
Quick Tips for Tanks
- Go at the pace of what your party can handle.
- Lyssa's Skull Dasher, the Ladon Lord's Scratch, and Hermes's True Tornado are the tank busters to watch out for.
- Position Hermes close to the non-cracked meteor so the party can use it to line-of-sight both Hermeticas.
4.
Quick Tips for Healers
- There is a lot more incoming damage in this dungeon than any other. Make sure to top players off in case they accidentally fail mechanics.
- You can use Rescue in case players are far away from the safe spot for Frostbite and Seek.
5.
Quick Tips for DPS
- Use AoE during trash pulls!
- If you haven't already been doing so, start helping your healer mitigate raidwides with abilities like Addle and Feint.
