Earning Reputation with the Qitari Beast Tribe in FFXIV

The Qitari tribe in The Rak'tika Greatwood require assistance for an excavation of a grand scale, in order to acquire massive stone tablets engraved with records of history to reclaim their legacy. To learn about what beast tribes are and what their quests are about, visit our tribes hub.

The Qitari tribe is one of the tribes of Shadowbringers. They are focused on Disciples of the Land. Their currency is the Qitari Compliment and these can be traded in for rewards. There are two other tribes in Shadowbringers, and you can learn about them by visiting the ShB tribe hub.

In order to unlock Qitari daily quests, players must have completed the level 74 main scenario quest An Unwanted Proposal. In addition, they need to complete two separate sidequest chains. First, players must complete quests starting from Valan at The Rak'tika Greatwood (x19.8, y27.6), the first of which unlocks an Aether Current.

2. Slither Along
3. Snake the Lead
4. Snakes in the Grass

Next, players must complete quests starting from Lanille at The Rak'tika Greatwood (x31.3, y16.9), the first of which unlocks an Aether Current.

1. Stand on Ceremony
2. Seeing Eye to Eye
3. Mending Fences
4. Hearts as One

Completing both of these quest chains will unlock the quest Protectors of the Wood from Phyna in The Rak'tika Greatwood (x30.7, y20.2). Completing this quest will unlock the quest The Stewards of Note from the Concerned Mother in the Rak'tika Greatwood (x21.0, y27.6). This quest will unlock the Qitari beast tribe!

The Qitari starts off at Friendly rank and maxes out at Bloodsworn rank. As there are no Allied Beast Tribe quests in Shadowbriners, there is no higher rank that can be acquired.

The Qitari are focused on gathering. There are no special requirements to gather Qitari beast tribe items, but the item players must gather depends on the quest. All items are specific quest items.

After completing the first main quest, players unlock daily quests. Upon reaching max reputation for the rank, a new main story quest becomes unlocked which ranks up the player. Doing so will unlock new daily quests. Qitari quests employ a system called quest sync, which matches the difficulty of quests to the player's current level. Players must complete the quest on the job they accept the quest on.

These quests are unlocked upon reaching the sufficient rank.

While ranking up unlocks new daily quests, only three quests are offered each day. However, after ranking up players will immediately have access to the three new quests from the new rank.

All Qitari quests reward a Cordial.

Friendly quests are offered by Qhoterl Pasol, and reward 60 reputation each. Players will cap reputation in 3 days of 3 daily quests.

Trusted quests are offered by Qhoterl Pasol, and reward 60 reputation each. Players will cap reputation in 4 days of 3 daily quests.

Respected quests are offered by Qhoterl Pasol, and reward 60 reputation each. Players will cap reputation in 6 days of 3 daily quests.

Honored quests are offered by Qhoterl Pasol, and reward 60 reputation each. Players will cap reputation in 8 days of 3 daily quests.

No new quests are offered once players reach the rank of Sworn, and players will cap reputation in 10 days of 3 daily quests.

Players can exchange their Qitari Compliment with Yuqurl Manl. More items will be unlocked after increasing your reputation.
