Leveling Rotations and Tips for Reaper — Dawntrail 7.0
This page covers the rotation and action usage when leveling Reaper to Level 100. This page can also be used to help when doing roulettes with level scaling by using the slider to adjust the information to your desired level.
Gear Options
When leveling up, you should always choose the piece of gear with the highest item level. You can exchange Allagan Tomestone of Poetics for gear in Rhalgr's Reach at level 70 and in Eulmore at level 80.
Rotation Overview While Leveling Reaper
Reaper starts out at level 70, but since the lowest level duty you can queue into is level 15, that is where we will start this page at.

Single Target Priority
Reaper Single target rotation is pretty straight forward. Consider your combo actions as filler and utilize all of your other resources before committing to a combo. The combo timer lasts for 30 seconds, so it will be hard to drop combo while leveling.
- Maintain Death's Design by using Shadow of Death on the target. Shadow of Death applies the debuff for 30 seconds, but can stack it up to 60 seconds.
- Use Arcane Circle on cooldown to buff the parties damage.
- Use Arcane Circle on cooldown to buff the parties damage. It will also grant you access to Plentiful Harvest 6 seconds after using, as long as you do a damaging Weaponskill or ability within those 5 seconds after using Arcane Circle.
Mitigation Utility
- Feint is a strong cross-class mitigation tool. Use it when available to prevent enemies auto-attacks, raidwide damaging attacks, or tank busters.
- Arcane Crest will apply an AoE regen effect to the raid if it breaks after cast. Use this before any raidwide damage to help heal up the raid afterwards.
Multi-Target Priority 3+ Targets
- Same as single target.
- Maintain Death's Design by using Whorl of Death on the targets. Whorl of Death applies the debuff for 30 seconds, but can stack it up to 60 seconds.
- Whorl of Death deals damage in an area around the caster.

- Level 70: The Harvest Begins
- Level 73: On the Hunt
- Level 75: Dark Days
- Level 78: Thicker than Blood
