Scholar Job Changes and Updates — Dawntrail 7.3

As with most jobs, Scholar receives balance and quality of life adjustments from time to time. The changes to Scholar throughout the current expansion are displayed here for conveinence.

As of the media tour build, the only changes to Scholar's pre-Dawntrail spells and abilities are as follows:

Scholar receives several new spells and abilities on the road to level 100, including an upgraded version of Succor and a powerful AoE DoT that can be used after Chain Stratagem. Its new capstone ability, Seraphism, changes your appearance for its duration, applies a party-wide regen, and provides access to powerful new healing spells.

Seraphism (Lv.100)	Ability	Gradually restores the HP of self and all party members within a radius of 50y. Cure Potency: 100 Additional Effect: Changes Adloquium to Manifestation and Concitation to Accession Duration: 20s Effect cannot be stacked with Dissipation. Can only be executed while a faerie is summoned and you are in combat.
Manifestation	Spell	Restores target's HP. Cure Potency: 360 Additional Effect: Grants Galvanize to target, nullifying damage equaling 180% of the amount of HP restored. When critical HP is restored, also grants Catalyze, nullifying damage equaling 180% of the amount of HP restored. Duration: 30s Effect cannot be stacked with certain Sage barrier effects. Can only be executed while under the effect of Seraphism. Note: Cast time is instant.
Accession	Spell	Restores own HP and the HP of all party members within 15y. Cure Potency: 240 Additional Effect: Grants Galvanize to target, nullifying damage equaling 180% of the amount of HP restored. Duration: 30s Effect cannot be stacked with certain Sage barrier effects. Can only be executed while under the effect of Seraphism. Note: Cast time is instant.

Scholar receives several new traits on the way to level 100, enhancing some existing spells and abilities and providing some quality of life improvements.

Enhanced Recitation	Lv.98	Reduces Recitation recast time to 60 seconds.

Very little has changed about Scholar's opener or rotation except the addition of Baneful Impaction to every Chain Stratagem window. With raid buffs lasting longer, it is now also usually worth it to refresh Biolysis early as the last GCD under raid buffs.
