The Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak Dungeon Guide and Loot List
Welcome to our guide to The Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak, Final Fantasy XIV's level 24 dungeon. This guide aims to prepare players so they will know what to expect, with simple mechanic instructions and notes on how to progress through the dungeon.
The Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak
Named after a man-eating creature from Padjali folklore, the Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak was built on the site of a natural cave system beneath Silent Arbor. Until recently, it held all of Gridania's foulest criminals, from arsonists to poachers, but the completion of a new gaol closer to the city heralded its abandonement.

Dungeon Mechanics
As of patch 6.1, much like other dungeons in the A Realm Reborn expansion, The Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak has undergone a massive rework. The old version of this dungeon had you running through what was essentially a maze where you had to pick up glowing green orbs to progress through the dungeon. Those mechanics are now gone, replaced with a very straightforward and easy to decipher map layout. There are a few blocked pathways (spiderwebs will hinder your path), which can be opened simply by killing the mobs prior to the webbing.
Coeurl O' Nine Tails
This fight will occur twice, and there is nothing too spectacular about it. The boss will periodically use the move Acid Mist which places a poison debuff on anyone nearby. Ranged classes can opt to stand far away in an effort to assist healing, but otherwise, this is just a traditional tank-n-spank encounter.
Graffias
Prior to engaging with Graffias, take note of the green sludge covering a large portion of the room. Standing in this will apply the Leaden debuff to your character, slowing their movement speed and making dodging damage a fair bit harder.
Graffias' basic moveset consists of Realm Shaker, which is raidwide damage, Silkscreen, an avoidable line attack that, when hit, will push the player backwards, and Sticky Web, which will drop a web sac onto the players position and after a brief period of time will explode on the location.
At 70%, Graffias will spawn two adds which should be picked up by the tank and handled appropriately. At 40%, Graffias will begin to utilize his tail, pouring extremely large poison puddles onto the arena through the attack Deadly Thrust, which apply a poison debuff if stood in. The party can now target the tail and should do so immediately, as breaking it will stun and apply a 60-second vuln-up debuff to the boss, while also disabling its ability to perform Deadly Thrust. At 30%, Graffias will spawn another set of adds which should be handled the same way as the first set.
