3 points/signed Fully agree. If the boss would have died, people would scream "pushover, easy, dissapointment". If the boss doesn't die, people will scream "badly tuned, unkillable, dissapointment". There is no way to please all these whining internet babies. If top guild steamroll 9/11, that means the other normal guilds will be able to clear the content without the need for big nerfwaves. Meaning = properly tuned to start out with. Furthermore, to cater to the top guilds while not hindering the rest of the playerbase, the endboss can be (nearly) unkillable. Making it an extreme achiev

2 pointsA Mythic only phase video, many Aggramar kills and Method GM Sco explains why Argus isn't dead yet in detail. It's been a few days since we've checked in on the Antorus Mythic progress race, but not that much has happened since then as, thankfully, Argus is still alive! The big news is that a whole bunch of guilds got past Aggramar, resulting in us getting some footage of the Mythic-only phase of Argus the Unmaker, courtesy of Chinese guild Style War: You can also follow Style War live as they tackle Argus Mythic right here: Everything started with Finnish guilds

2 pointsPersonally I think Temporus is a whole lot better then people give him credit for. He has some very viable tech applications and can be playable off of Netherspite Historian in a few matches, most notably control warlock and raza priest. I think he has a yogg effect going for him, people only saw the bad part of yoggs effect on release but never saw the swing potential since you only ever played yogg when you were losing. In both the aforementioned matches, it is really hard to stick a board against them, and if you play Temporus when your board is empty you will rarely lose vs control warlo

2 pointsAnd dont forget that not every raid member has the phanteon trinket yet, that means that THEY ARE NOT PREPARED to face him... maybe in a few weeks, with the 20 trinkets they will be able to properly fight him

2 pointsYou seem to be confused between "hard" and "mathematically impossible". The other bosses are hard, and pretty fun to do (that's where the top guild had it easy, simply because when you play everyday of the week with only top 10 players and do split runs, and can field insane rosters with like Limit going with 18 ranged for coven, all very well stuffed, you expectedly don't have the same experience as anyone else), that's a good job. BUT Argus being "impossible" means he is NOT "nearly unkillable", that means he IS unkillable. The other problem come from the weird progression curve an

1 pointZone scaling is one of the highly-anticipated features of Patch 7.3.5. Check out the new zone caps in more detail! Zone Scaling TL;DR: All starting zones scale up to level 10. World of Warcraft Vanilla (Eastern Kingdoms & Kalimdor) scales up to level 60. At level 58, players can choose between Outland or Northrend (capped at level 80). At level 80, players can choose between Cataclysm or Pandaria (capped at level 90). Zones still have a minimum level requirement. Quest rewards scale up to your level. Starting Zones (1-10) Eastern Kingdoms

1 pointyeah I'm pretty sure preventing someone from even being able to play, that otherwise would have been able to be on with a steady connection, during mythic raid progression is a significant advantage. Especially if they can prove that the disconnects ended after mythic progress.

1 pointObviously, if you start playing another deck, you can overextend IF you have 7 or more damage on board, for example having a fireball and a ping as mage or DK hero power + swipe as druid. Dirty Rat is a good tech to summon their Apprentice before their combo. I once defeated an exodia mage in wild with Deathlord's help. If you are lucky, gnomeferatu can work too. With traditional ways, a zoolock cannot interact with their final combo, when they drop the Apprentice they either lose to theirselves or win.

1 pointI said "some people" not "all" ofc there is good and bad as with most things :) It just reminded me of a lot of bad experiences with WoW, maybe I just had a lot of bad personal luck with that.

1 point1) be the beatdown. Attack with everything you have. You haven't to go face everytime, but it's true that they can't build a board better then yours 2) Know their board clear: they play 2 frost nova and 1 or 2 blizzard, with 2 Doomsayer. This mean that they can clear your board twice, and stall twice more. Normally, I would say to save >7 damage in your hand with spells or hero power, to destroy their doomsayers, but as zoolock is not that easy. So, you must never build a board too huge. You must build a new big board ASAP after their doomsayer has been dropped, so leave something in

1 pointThe best suggestion I have is, save your time by leaving the match and hope the next one will be Highlander Priest :D

1 pointYou guys really, truly, believe it to be mathematically impossible? Common... and the Sco video is a meme to all comming up with that answer. Show me the math, just a small spreadsheet will do, that serves as an argument for this statement of impossibility.

1 pointOur Patch 7.3.5 zone preview continues with Fate's Veil, Forge of Aeons, and more. Patch 7.3.5 adds several new zones to the game and it looks like they might be used for scenarios. Fate's Veil (Void Elves Unlock Scenario) The zone is very similar to the the in Locus-Walker & Alleria quest chain in Mac'Aree, possibly related to Void Elves. It has a cool skybox with Old God infested planets. Forge of Aeons (Lightforged Draenei Unlock Scenario) The Sunwell Uuna Scenario A new zone called "A Dark Place" was added in Patch 7.3.5. It's referr

1 pointGame Designer Chadd "Celestalon" Nervig announced on Twitter that he will be leaving the World of Warcraft team to join the Hearthstone team. Celestalon worked on the Endless Halls maze design in World of Warcraft (for Lucid Nightmare). He's also known for playing World of Warcraft with a tablet. We wish him success in his future endeavors! Blizzard (Source) Classes, systems, spreadsheets, the occasional obscure questline... These have been the primary focus of my life for years now. I cannot thank the WoW community enough, for your passion, your friendship, the laughs, the

1 pointI know I'm in the minority here, but I don't think they need or even want to 'balance' a boss like that yet - it's almost certainly working the way they designed it to. It's supposed to be the final challenge of the expansion, not to mention being the biggest McGuffin in the entire wow canon (old gods are undeveloped and a cheap cop-out explanation for things). Why would they want it to be steamrolled in the first week? They're 100% certainly collecting data from each pull, and they will absolutely know if the boss is 'unkillable' or not.

1 pointThere's a lot of boss mechanics that will one shot you on high Mythic+ Tyrannical weeks, but it's mostly mechanics that you can dodge. You have to Turtle any one-shot mechanic that can't be dodged, like the first shadow bolt volley from Dantalionax in Black Rook Hold. You Turtle it or you die, end of story. Any mechanic that will one-shot you will one-shot any other dps or healer, so if you're the only one dying it's completely on you. I've only done up to +16 because I only do it for the weekly chest, but the harshness of Tyrannical bosses is definitely on purpose. What my group does is

1 pointIn episode 8 of "What's the Move?", Aleco details his thought process for tackling open-ended early game decisions. The early game is a phase of incomplete information on the ladder which can often be quite challenging to reason through. In episode 8 of "What's the Move?", Aleco details the thought process he uses for breaking down open-ended early game decisions. After struggling through some computer issues and taking a brief trip to New Orleans, I'm very happy to be back and to be able to bring you all the next episode of WTM! This video was made because of a request I r
