2 pointsIf you ever doubted or find yourself doubting the importance of betas and PTRs, well, just remember this. There's a bit of a bug going around the Battle for Azeroth beta in which the duration of Warlocks' Rain of Fire and Mages' Blizzard is increased...a little. Or rather infinity. Aside from making the game basically unplayable in areas where people have spammed said spells, due to frame rate drops and crashes, it's also made for some very impressive visuals! So if you were ever curious as to what would happen if Ragnaros and all fire elementals ever decided to heat things up on Azeroth, well

1 pointFatbossTV are back with a preview of Uldir's final boss, G'huun. The encounter consists of three phases. In the first phase, you're going to fight off minions, while G'huun is encased within the chamber wall. In order to start phase two, players must deposit Power Matrices to trigger Reorigination Blasts and force G'huun from his protective lair. The final phase begins at 25% and looks like a simple burn phase, because Reorigination Blasts will no longer be cast and Putrid Blood will begin to stack indefinitely. Gh'uun (Blood God) In Uldir, the titans had hoped to find a solutio

1 pointHere we go with the next official zone preview for BfA, with Zandalar's Nazmir bringing a whole lot of swamp, blood god cultists, loa allies, tortollans and more! Home to the first raid of BfA, the titan research facility of Uldir, the zone should have a lot of ties to the raid's storyline and old god shenanigans. Nazmir (source) Once the shining heart of troll civilization, Nazmir is now a bleak swamp riddled with ruined reminders of its former greatness. In the current troll capital of Zuldazar, stories are passed down from generation to generation cautioning childre

1 pointOnly problem is that with the current cost, that's not gonna work. People already spend a couple hundred gold per raid night on flasks, food, tomes etc. Even if you respec your armor three-four times a night, it's still gonna be dirt cheap.

1 pointI always like tempo storm. Win rates are inherently unreliable for a lot of reasons. One is how the data is collected, no api, two some decks don't have statistically significant sample sizes, three how strong a deck is depends a lot on the pilot, decks with lower win rates aren't necessarily bad, just difficult, so win rate driven analysis can be misleading. On the other hand you could make a similar argument that what pro players think about decks matters less to us plebs who are no where near as good.

1 pointTo be completely honest, I don't see this as a bad feature. In any case, you will have to carry less gear for your off-specs than you did in Legion. Also keep in mind that rarely will you actually have an armor piece whose Azerite traits will be BiS across multiple specs. Based on the effects we've seen for the armors so far, the biggest upgrade to the armor comes at the very beginning, which is the item-level upgrade.

1 pointArms Warriors are currently experiecing issues with the Rage economy on Battle for Azeroth Beta and Blizzard outlined changes planned for the specialization in an upcoming Beta build. Arms Warrior Changes Coming to BfA Beta Tomorrow: Avatar and Fervor of Battle swap places (Avatar to 90, Fervor to 45). Trauma removed, and replaced with the new Massacre design: "Execute is now usable against targets below 35% health." Skullsplitter generates 20 Rage (was 30 Rage). Anger Management no longer affects Deadly Calm. It now only affects Colossus Smash/Warbreaker, and Bl

1 pointI never use decks directly from the meta lists. I usually change at least 2 or 3 things, maybe more when I start playing it. Yeah, it may reduce the winrate in some specific situations, but it gives you a competitive edge, because people don't expect these changest at all. As long as you don't break the core synergy of the deck (like removing giants from a giant deck), to me it's always better to make your own changes. I started making my own changes when I was new, because I didn't have all the cards I need, but now it's just a normal thing to do for me.

1 pointA big problem with Dibbles is that people played him like the melee assassin he used to be in the past even past his nerfs. And he can no longer do that. For those that played Dibbles like a tank, Dibbles probably only needed minor buffs around his survivability. This being said, the Devil's Due buff is total nonsense and I don't really like the Devastating Charge buff either.

1 pointIf that's the case, that's annoying indeed, but you should not have too many of those items that are optimal for two specs. Maybe automatically switch powers when switching specs, just as talents? That would be a mess though. As the article states, I see this more to prevent switching azerite powers to adapt to a given encounter, not a given spec. This does the job. Overall it is well designed, well thought through and implemented as usual. Nothing to complain here, it is way better than allowing people to switch traits as they want whenever they want.

1 pointYou should never use Stampede, it is almost never a better talent than the others except I super extreme niche cases. If you are using it anyway, aspect of the beast is the most appropriate weights to use.
-
1 pointHey! The build is the same principle. The only thing that changes between the two is whether you are using Aspect of the Beast, or Killer Cobra (level 100 talents).

1 pointThe Mage Tower challenges will be up permanently at some point during Legion! Ornyx took to the forums today to reassure players that there will be enough time to get those base appearances unlocked before BfA, regardless of the status of the actual Mage Tower building, although he didn't offer up any time frame for this blessed event. And remember, the base appearance is all you'll need since you can unlock the variants even during BfA, as Watcher mentioned earlier: Mage Tower (source) No specific details on timing at the moment, but we are planning to allow the challenge to

1 pointAlso, throw your turrets behind the enemy lines and see if they wont take at least a couple hundred HP damage before being able to destroy them. And you can spam her right click orb quite fast, even if the non charged version does less damage it still splashes (and can be quite scary to run into a barrage of those bubbles).

1 pointCool boss, too bad the tank damage was way overtuned so we couldn't get to last phase but seems like it won't be Xavius v2.0, the heroic version was intense as is and looking at Dungeon Journal the mythic mechanics are INSANE, can't wait to see how it turns out! Btw a small typo on the original post, in order to get to P2 (G'huun freed from the wall) you need to deposit the Power Matrices while dealing with the adds, once you put in the first ones and get through the Reorigination Blasts AoE he comes out. You can continue putting in Power Matrices while fighting him in P2 to stun the enemie

1 pointIt is four seconds (60->2s charge->120->2s charge->180) Roadhog does 150 damage per shot without an headshot --> 300 with an headshot Reaper does 280 damage per second without an headshot --> 560 with an headshot Soldier does 171 damage per second without an headshot --> 342 with an headshot The ult is something different, we will have to see if it is useful or not. As an example: Sombra does not have a damage ult and it is considered one of the strongest ults in the game. Same goes with Symmetra IMO. think of it as an extra 5000 barrier (or 2,5 ti
