4 pointsYou are wholly ignorant of what it takes if you think it's easy to make something like this.
-
3 pointsHonestly, don't think they'd be a good addition. Lorewise, they bring nothing to the table. They have no real leaders, occupy no strategic areas, have no army, their fighters are scarce (they're more desert nomads+opportunists than anything). In terms of their characterization, there seems to be one or two young adults and then the rest are voiced as children or teenagers? Anime factor is high here, they could have been ripped out of Sonic the hedgehog. I don't hate them, but it feels like putting a square peg in a round hole to make them a horde allied race.

2 pointsApparently it's BlizzCon season and to celebrate its start Blizzard have posted a whole lot of goodies for us to enjoy! First off there's a great "Best of BlizzCons Past" video series, that will be focusing on the great moments from former conventions, starting off with biggest surprise announcements. We can also vote for for our favorite surprise to come out of the shows. Next up it's the big ticket item from the post, the Blizzard community infographic, covering some amazing stats from across all of Blizzard's games, from important and informative ones like 37 million monthly active pla

2 pointsIt seems war does pay, even in Azeroth! Battle for Azeroth has become the fastest selling expansion of all time, based on the 3.4 million copies sold on day 1! Perhaps it shouldn't be surprising with the WARcraft franchise, but after 14 years to have the latest expansion break records is a little staggering and more than a little impressive. The number isn't just impressive for Blizzard and WoW expansions, it also makes BfA one of the fastest selling PC games of all time! For comparison, the latest expansion beat out all time records by "only" 100,000 units, with Cataclysm, Warlords of Drae

2 pointsThe harassment of Christie Golden just showed how childish and ignorant the WoW fanbase is. "Oh no, you're tampering with my favorite character and ruining them even though I haven't seen how the story unfolds. You should kill yourself."

2 pointsLegion was indeed incredible, but BfA is looking to also be so, and with way less hassle over chasing RNG legendaries and such. Island Expeditions have massive potential if they double down on its rewards, would literally love to have more reason to care and min-max for them!
-
2 pointsI believe this all due to a single factor: Legion was really incredible, possibly the best expansion in WoW in terms of content, even beating the insanely popular WotLK. People (that I know from other games) who had dismissed WoW years ago, myself included, came back to WoW because of Legion. (personally, i just wanted to try out the demon hunter and even though i don't care for that class, the expansion itself made me fall in love with WoW all over again!). So my point is; Legion was really fantastic and BfA is sort of riding on the coat tails of it's success and I think many people expected

2 pointsI love this expansion more now than I did in December when I got an early invite. Good job, Blizzard.

1 pointEurogamer talked to Senior Game Producer Michael Bybee about Sylvanas and the World Tree. Check out the full Eurogamer Interview Michael Bybee confirmed that Sylvanas will not follow in Garrosh's footsteps yesterday and now Eurogamer asked him a few questions about her and the World Tree. Interview Highlights Crafting stories in World of Warcraft comes with its own set of challenges, because the story is spread across many types of media (in-game cinematics, novellas). According to Bybee, many beats of the Sylvanas story were told in places outside of the game and t

1 pointA really big batch arrived today, keeping the trend of hotfixes every single work day since BfA launched and featuring a number of class changes for Demon Hunters, Hunters, Mages, Paladins an Warlocks, in addition to the previously detailed Feral Druid buffs. The other big fix is PvP scaling being re-balanced in favor of max level players, as detailed in this blue post: PvP Scaling (source) We're preparing a hotfix to go live soon which will widen the power gap a bit between players between 110 to 120. This means that, for example, a 120 will be stronger against a 115 after t

1 pointHello and welcome! Have you tried the updated Class Trials? They may help you with your choice if you're not really sure which Class to pick. I was facing the same problem and wasn't really sure what to play in BfA, so I boosted a Druid! You have four specs (ranged/melee dps, tank & healer). Later on, you can race change to Zandalari Trolls or Kul Tiran Humans. Both have really cool Druid forms. But that's just my personal preference and you should play whatever you enjoy most. Loving fel? Roll a DH. Do you prefer to be a warrior of the light? Play a Paladin. Do you like martial arts? Monk

1 pointAs others have said, the "on a whim" thing was retconned. The Warbringers shorts were done before CG joined the team so she corrected the stupidity of it in her novella. Don't worry. It now makes a lot more sense. But the issue is to anyone who doesn't go out of their way to read the extra lore they won't realize.
-
1 pointThe previously announced Feral Druid buffs have been detailed (or at least part of them, there could be more coming later) and they should be coming in the next couple of days or earlier. Brutal Slash, Swipe and Thrash are getting 15-20% buffs and there's some bug fixes for Berserk, Tiger's Fury and Incarnation: King of the Jungle in relation to them dropping during shapeshifting. Feral (source) Announcement: We're currently working through a tuning package for Feral Druids. Specifically, we're adjusting Feral performance relative to other specs in dungeons and q

1 pointWell the tree was mostly burned because Saurfang failed to finish Malfurion and thus didnt deliver a blow that would weaken the Alliance .Whole Invasion of Teldrasill was planned by Saurfang as it is pointed out in CE novellas(which are also free to read on Blizzards official WoW site)

1 pointBlizzard has posted a roundup of the latest story development in Battle for Azeroth for week 2. The article contains spoilers. If you're late to the party, don't worry! The first week of the story is covered here. This week's oficial preview includes Jaina's nightmare and visions, the shady deal between Rastakhan and Bwonsamdi after Rezan's death, return of the Kul Tiran fleet, and finally, Zul shattering the final seal to free Blood God G'huun from his prison with the help of Mythrax. Blizzard (Source) SPOILERS AHEAD!!! Turn back now if you have yet to play through the cur

1 pointIndeed, BfA had much less to prove than Legion, which came out after WoD's content drought. There was also the issue of WoD having much of it's important bits of content scrapped, only two tiers of raids and the infamous "selfie patch", that is often brought up in discussions. That being said, BfA isn't without it's flaws, still plenty of rng, endless ap grind (though at least it's not separate for different specs, still rather unfriendly), mission table and gating of some content that is ready for release anyway. But I like overall atmosphere, especially Kul Tiras, pirates, witches etc.,

1 pointIn my opinion those changes are a joke. Those "buffs" are not gonna do jack squad for feral. Still energy starved, still no way to spend combo points in an aoe situation, still takes ages to ramp up, still no aoe dmg, still no single target dmg, still a single long CD ability for burst. Idk what they are thinking, feral is trash right now, and this very sadly won't change a thing IF it's all they are doing. What I would like to see: An AOE finisher. Stop making us dump combo points into single target abilities that deal no dmg when there's a whole pack of mobs. Especially since
-
1 pointEssentially because they so not lose value with multiple (hypothetical) traits, so only showing one trait I fear would just be confusing and cause people to underestimate how good they are. There are many traits that you will never realistically be able to stack 3 of, like Champions of Azeroth which is only available on a single piece of level 120 gear. There are no reachable Haste breakpoints. If you had Feeding Frenzy, then with 34% Haste you can keep up 3 stacks indefinitely, but this is neither possible nor a positive thing worth losing so many other stats over. Without

1 pointMuch better troll, OP was way to obvious... Ohh and if either of you are serious.... lol :) Im not sensitive to your spiritual beliefs, neither should blizzard or anyone else be. Your spirituality is your problem, not mine :)

1 pointthey "BALANCE" feral is that not enough?! ? Is the owl weak?
-
1 pointI'm not getting weaker. Sounds like a personal problem. I ding'd 118 last night and I pretty much have only felt like I'm getting stronger. There's a lot of well documented QQ in this game going back more than ten years. Not all of it justified. A lot of those people just need to L2P. This sounds like a lot of them simply got too used to their welfare "legendaries".
-
1 pointChromie: Well, no one can say she didn't need buffs, but the rework did not fix her biggest problems (Traps, Time Loop). Changing those would open up real room to buff her. KTZ: No experience with playing him but he'll at least be less annoying to face. However, his combo, while harder to land, can be used even more often and even Li Li's 40 second Cleanse can no longer bail someone out of it. Raynor: Needed nerfs. Tychus: Buffs. I think he could use those, especially the Lead Rain buff, as that talent was quite overshadowed. Azmodan: Changes make sense, but it's needless t

1 pointHow does it feel to read a multi-paragraph explanation of the reasoning behind the system and not learn anything from it?
-
1 pointArhh. When to look up on the solution - when to try just one more time. One thing I have found is that you can get so stuck on one type of play that allmost worked - that you cannot see a fairly obvious other solution. Not all the solutions are combos that requires priest Test Subject OTK combo skils. but some of them almost do and thats OK also. There is no burning rope and you can retry. Or look up a solution when you get to frustrated - so thanks to Kat and Aleco. I like there is hints too
-
1 pointI am very displeased ? Chromie has like 35% win rate and you buffed her very very softly. Unwavering Faith (Q) was already a "meh" talent now its totally useless High Inquisitor (W) will be now must-have.... I understand Azmodan and deckard nerf,Stukov is for me now just a mess needing rework, just like chromie and making his health bigger does not help a bit :/. Only good thing here is maybe Kel´thuzad....maybe ?

1 pointWe wanted to wait for more blue posts to pop up and do a roundup, because the post doesn't mention anything specific besides Feral changes & it's pretty common that we're going to see multiple rounds of Class tuning before Uldir. If there were specifics like we had for Arms Warriors, we'd have posted it separately.

1 pointMaking the world scale to your ilvl is dumb anyway. When I get gear I want to feel badass and wipe the floor with the mobs that once gave me a hard time. The fact the system is so broken, still, is hilarious.
-
1 pointthats the most boring launch ever ... already nothing to do after week 1.. now you realize what a blessing the legendary farm in legion was
-
1 pointAlso, to add to what Shishi says above, you can always RaidBots yourself for stat priorities/weights and evaluating potential upgrades. It's going to give you the best results rather than taking estimate percentages to aim for of each stat.
